That's why I love mods.

There's been a lot of chat around the workings of ProjectRed pipes, but scattered all over the place (not just on these forums, but also on reddit and youtube). It made sense to try and unify our collective knowledge, so I reckon this thread is a good idea. I still don't understand every aspect of it, but I made this video to showcase the bits I do get.
 

 
I still need to work out what responder and dynamic responder chips achieve, but other than that, I have a pretty thorough understanding.
 
I would quite like to try and collate enough info to write an entry to write something for the wiki on the topic, so any help on things I miss in the video would be great. I know this probably comes across as a thinly veiled attempt at advertising a video, but I do really want to make this mod accessible, given that it is just so powerful.

Thaumcraft has been done to death in other modpacks and is not the direction that they wanted to take with this one.

In another thread someone mentioned that Titans were the only vehicle enabled, to fit in with the theme of the pack.  If you pack your swear jar away and think about it, you could have just added the vehicles you wanted to your copy of the mod pack.

Now this is just silly shit.  This is a discussion board, you posted an opinion, people who disagree with that opinion will make posts disagreeing with it, and people who agree will make posts agreeing with it, and that's how this shit all works.  Now, you posted "I don't like the way Technic made Thing" on the official Technic boards- there are going to be more people disagreeing than agreeing with you.  Certainly, I'm gonna come in here and tell you I think you're wrong, that everything went into the pack the way it did for a reason and I'm going to tell you what those reasons were.  If you want to define that as kool-aid drinking, that's your prerogative I guess (but it's dumb), but you don't get to demand that only posts in support can post in here- that's not how message boards work.  Hell, that's now how LIFE works.   The issue isn't that we need to go back and re-read your OP, the issue is that you need to uncurl yourself from the fetal position and respond to some portion of the conversation that's occurred since the OP, in some manner, instead of just writing it off as "kool-aid".  
 
At the very least you need to ask yourself exactly what you want from this conversation, because at this moment, it seems what you wanted was a hugbox, and that reflects very poorly on your character.
