Tbh there really isn't a special way to find them. Just alot of travelling. I've gone 50k blocks of solid ocean looking for kelp and found none :/

I have the autonomous activator with looting III swords so I get more drops. Something the grinder can't do :-)

I find them in the biome which has ice trees. Snow golems also spawn in the biome

This is how I get mine: http://imgur.com/a/7iqBK Picture 1) spawners ( I have 2 witch, 1 zombie and 1 creeper ) They spawn and get moved into the hole at the bottom Picture 2) An autonomous activator kills the mobs and a sewer picks up the xp and turns it into mob essence. The mob essence is then taken to tanks below which store it Picture 3) Most of it is sent to a auto-spawner with a villager safari net. Picture 4) They are sent by conveyor belt to the smeltery Picture 5) They are made into emeralds :3 Picture 6) 125 emeralds after about 20 mins Picture 7) My emeralds after awhile This is how I get my emeralds

Aha I fixed it. Turns out it won't take liquid xp from where you use a drain (open blocks) But it will work with Liquid xp (Liquid xp) Just got to take a long time converting it :/ Thanks for the help!

Well so far I have been trying with the unifier. I can turn mob essence into liquid xp and then back into mob essence. But I can't turn liquid xp into mob essence if that makes sense? So it seems it accept mob essence but won't accept liquid xp :/

Hmm I guess I will have to wait to it updates to the recommended build. Do you know when that could be?

Nothing is disabled in the server. Maybe it's just in a older version where it is not in it yet. I believe we are using the recommended build. I'm putting buckets of xp but it won't work. I've also tried buckets of lxp and mob essence

Is there a way to automate turning normal xp into mob essence? I'm bored of using the xp extractor doing it level by level. :?

I get emeralds by finding a villager which wants wheat for emeralds. Use a reusable safari net on him and exact copy him in a auto spawner. Just keep on trading with them. Easy way for wheat: In the nether go find the bone spike things (not sure what they are called) Mine them and craft it into bone meal. seeds+bone meal = unlimited wheat = unlimited emeralds

They can't really fix the lag issue. just mainly down to your own computer. Changed the amount of ram in the launcher to help yet? I doubt they will add buildcraft as you already have red power. The idea of this modpack was to be simple not complicated with loads of machines

Is there a way to cut the redwood down in one go? when I try with my lumber axe it just breaks the normal amount of blocks

I know I can move the material to the bottom. I do this. But when I pour let's say iron into a basin or cast the pig iron will move it's self to the bottom. So it makes it impossible to pour anything because it will start to pour but then stop as the pig iron has moved it'self to the bottom. When I check how much pig iron there is it will say 0mb. any other ideas?

When I go to pour a liquid ( for example iron) into a ingot cast it will only pour some of the iron and stop. If I then check the smeltery, pig iron will of have moved it's self to the bottom of it ( when I check how much pig iron there is it will say 0mb). Because of this I can't pour any metal out. is there anyway to fix/change this?
