  1. Basic question: do you have x64 java installed? Did you try to run it as administrator?
  2. Oh.. I know what he is talking about... the modpack description page editor... Use the "Source Code" button and try some bbcode. Like try to paste something like this [url=http://google.com/]Link for Google[/url] To the source code window that appears.
  3. I'm sorry but that modpack is broken. Does the same thing here. Bug the author about this. Moving this to Platform Pagoda since you are trying to run custom modpacks.

    cant install

Lemme check the connection for Blightfall real quick... http://paste.ubuntu.com/12438983/ 16 megabytes per second... good enough for me (euro location)
  5. EvilOwl

    cant install

Looks like the issue should be fixed. Try again
  6. Logs are in .technic/logs copy the contents of the latest file to paste.ubuntu.com and post the link (only the link, not a wall of text)
  7. EvilOwl

    cant install

    Issue already reported. Hold on
  8. Next time post the api modpack link, like this http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/minecraft-1oo-modpack I could use the latest log from .technic/logs because I'm not near to a pc right now.
  9. EvilOwl

    cant install

Can you go to the modpack options and select manually build 2.1.3 and try to install that version?
  10. "Loader"? I hope you are using the official launcher downloaded from http://technicpack.net/download
  11. I already found it.. The file server does not inform the downloading side about the file size so the launcher also doesn't know what to show... I think. My vps downloaded it in seconds but my home internet is struggling with that. Looks like a bad host/network problem. ...also don't include minecraft.jar in your modpack... and get rid of that second modpack inside cache directory...
  12. Quick question: are you using a cracked launcher?
  13. Logs are in .technic/logs copy the contents of the latest file to paste.ubuntu.com and post the link (only the link, not a wall of text)
  14. A dedicated host. That's nice. Your DynamicLights mod is not installed correctly. The jar file should be extracted from the zip (from the mods directory inside) along with the UpdateCheckerMod. That disabled directory I'm unsure of. IIRC disabled mods should have the name format like mod-version.jar.disabled so you can remove that additional .disabled extension when needed.
  15. No api link. No modpack page link. No modpack name. No logs. Nothing.
  16. A rar file? Really? Where did you get the idea the platform supports rar files? Use zip files only.
  17. Can you log in manually to the vanilla launcher with that credentials (without the vanilla launcher saving it for you)?
  18. A direct link in simple words is a link that leads straight to a file, not to a site. If you put it in your browser it starts to download the file right away without any additional clicking. Examples above in my posts.
  19. That's a custom modpack problem, not a launcher problem. Report it to the modpack author. This doesn't belong here also. That's enough spamming this report tezzy
  20. Your modpack url is non-existent atm. Try setting the modpack link again, if that fails give the platform some time to catch up and try again. Edit: wait, that link is erroring on me:
  21. I meant like a new thread... Sigh. Attachments don't work on the forums atm. Use paste.ubuntu.com (in a new thread)
  22. That modpack still doesn't have a direct link. Change it to this: https://copy.com/dbjyeAiTbgsuRN4D/sla.zip?download=1 also... here's your forge:
  23. tezzy, make your own post, include a link with a paste of the log
  24. you can also use any linux live cd
  25. Like normally in the bin directory inside your modpack zip file. Now you have: modpack.zip -> bin -> modpack.zip -> modpack.jar You should have: modpack.zip -> bin -> modpack.jar
