You open http://paste.ubuntu.com paste your log in the blue text field, type your nick in the red text field, hit the Paste button (yellow), wait a bit so the site does it's thing and then you copy the address (it should look like http://paste.ubuntu.com/11710153/) from the new page it shows and paste it to the post editor in here

Complete launcher log from the time it happened. I want it on paste.ubuntu.com, post only the link here (not the whole log)
-
Just update NEI to version 1.0.5 or newer.

The answer to your problems in right in front of you. You are using a 32bit java. Uninstall all javas and install a 64bit java version. Again, 64bit

Vilrath, this issues was about an error on the platform that was fixed, not a modpack crash. Make a new thread ("Ask a question" button) and provide all technical information you can get: crash logs, launcher logs (use paste.ubuntu.com for logs), screenshots, steps that you went through when trying to fix, everything that can help diagnose your problems like it says here (in the "Necessary Information" section).

Yawns. Why do I see 3 post in a row twice now? There's an edit button you know. I'll take a look when I get back from work.
-
A quick google search brought me here. Check the comments, one of them should help you.

I took a closer look at your modpack.. Seems like you have everything right except the zip file structure, maybe there were some additional settings there that the basic zip extractor cannot parse. I repacked your modapck zip file and the launcher installed your modpack in seconds. I'm using WinRar with the zip setting.

Now you take that part of the crash log, google it and you'll find this thread. If you read it carefully, I said carefully you'll notice this: If you'll still not sure what's going on you can check that part of the crash log to see which mod is erroring (which brings you to the same conclusion).
-
Can you check the latest launcher build if it keeps happening? What OS are you using? Logs from .technic/logs on paste.ubuntu.com would be nice (if the launcher makes any before it breaks your desktop manager).
-
See what? That you have multiple versions of some mods installed? Remove duplicated mods, leave only one version of the mod (preferably the latest or the most stable), that's all... for now
-
Just gonna close this one up for obvious reasons (like new users with pitchforks shouting "gimmie tekkit"). We're not gonna discuss a version that's not out yet. Hit "Report post" if you don't agree.

Yah, I saw, dropbox was erroring a minute ago on that file but it's downloading now. Looks good at a glance. Will update when I run it. Does it crash for you? Did you run it locally?
-
You have the error in front of you but I see you already fixed it.
-
I said shhhh.. No can do Play a custom pack for the moment, there are hundreds (or maybe thousands) of them with Thermal Dynamics. Blightfall also has that mod If that's not enough just take a look at the technicpack news section from time to time. All the updates are published there.
-
Shhhh... The modpack is indev so the contents and the name could change a lot. You saw nothing, This never happened
-
That's also possible. Maybe heavy bandwidth users. I don't really know. Dedicated host, maybe a cheap vps, they start from 5$/month.
-
Neither can I. Will report it.

One problem is the modpack you tried to run (illuminaughty-craft) simply does not exist on the platform. The second one is your launcher is denied from reaching the mods directory for some weird reason, do you have security software enabled that could be blocking access (anti virus, firewall)?
-
I moved it to the correct place for you.
-
By adding IC2 you changed tekkit to a custom modpack. Moving to Platform Pagoda. One more duplicated thread and you get a warning.

By adding IC2 you changed tekkit to a custom modpack. Closing.
