I was trying to perform the ritual on eerie island, positioned all 4 eyes on the pedestal and used my wand, but nothing happens, it doesn't drain the 100 primal vis. I tried first with my manasteel entwined tainted wand, but to no avail, then charged my old wand, a golden topped silverwood one, but didn't succeed either. Is it disabled in this modpack or am i an idiot and cannot figure it out?

well it's called chunk loader, but to get the recipe you first need to research down the artifice section of thaumcraft, it looks like a golden enchanting table. (first you need to research the infusion tech however)

Building beacons is not possible. I suggest exploring thaumcraft research on artifacts such as magical rings for flight, focuses for utility blink and the world anchor to keep your crops growing. I suggest, however, to start by purifying a zone so you can have both farms and tech stuff on the same place. The treehouse is a little bit small to have the requred infrastructure, even for thaumcraft you will require a large room for the infusion altar and the decorations used to keep it stable. I am currently living on the eerie island, it has a large zone at the top of the pillar, perfect for farms, some advanced setup for your machinery and I even found space to make a small orchid for the required wood to burn.

Think the modpack disabled it, I scanned a gold chestpiece, but holds only metal and greed. I found a solution however: by researching the thaumcraft entry for corruption enchantment you can enchant picks so that they occasionally corrupt regular shards into nether shards. This way I now have plenty of shards of every capital sin.

Hello everyone. I was trying to get the dragon wings on my ring, but it requires 24 superbia... i searched around and it says that superbia can be found in shards, but the process is long and I need an advanced botania setup. Does anyone know if other items have the superbia aspect?

Hi guys, I decided it might be a good idea to start sharing infos about the blightfall world and his secrets, lore, general info about the map (even fanfic about "tendril w/ animal" stuff if you know what i mean *giggle*). So bear in mind, here you might find spoilers about locations and other stuff, if you want to find them on your own, avoid reading.

Hi guys, I'm here today because I'm a big noob. I searched for long the mystical ligth blue flower, that is supposed to be in the floating city, but i just can't find it. If you have coordinate/ location it would help.

I am not going to write the places were you can find loot (sorry if I spoiled the ship and the tomatoes however), but like every minecraft game, chests in villages / other locations help a great deal, the scout quest line helps with getting to important places were usually you can expect to find something useful. The map is full of intersting places were is possible to find loot, but it requires a great deal of exploring. Even just walking at random is a strategy to get loot at the very beginning.

So, for the location i suggest the desert, but for a different reason, being near the floating city is a good way to obtain the flying ship early and so go exploring the world safely, other than being able to acces all the floating islands from the start. Diamonds are not hard to find, any biome is good, just craft a hammer and go strip mining at low levels. To expand i actually use other biodomes, each one with different facilities. To eat is a good idea to get pigs, porkchops are really good for making higly nutrient food, and always keep reeds for sugar. Tip: the pizza is really good for food but requires tomatoes, you can find some going to the giant silverwood and then start climbing the mountain, there should be a small lake with several plants. Armor is the triky one, I actually relied on drops, loot and chest in villages to get armor until I was able to get Thaumcraft stuff, like the boots, the thaumium helmet with goggles and so on.

To get Nether stuff follow the geologist and scout quest line, they suggest places to get the required ores

As a suggestion, there exist an instrument in the thaumcraft mod that will help you. first you will need to research it, under the Apocrypha section. it is called the Shovel of the purifier and is expetially good to remove taint, liquid and gaseous flux. Also when used randomly generates tainted crystals, which are required to make a tainted wand.

Same problem, the recipe for cooking table exist but not the one for the book, believe is a bug of the last update that needs fix

Hello, I start this topic because i reached one of the so called " ore caches" and... found nothing. I travelled to the third ore cache and went under the sea, then started mining but found nothing of relevance. It should be a place packed with tech ores and I'm kinda desperate for supplies, being at the point of making the tech jump and building complex machines. If you know where to go to find large amounts of tech ores, like lead, nickel and tin please let me know.
