This issue is common for older computers and Windows 10. We recommend, if it's a desktop, to get a dedicated graphics, as it is always a better option, anyways. However, there is a fix. Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Programs and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java. After that, install Java 8 from this link: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428 Start up the launcher and try again.

Check your dependencies.

Adding the launcher log would be a good start. Use pastebin or ubuntu pastebin.

Technic is not Unzipping My File in the Custom Modpack
JaariAtmc replied to clothy's topic in Platform Pagoda
I checked the modpack, I downloaded the modpack, I did not have the issue you described above, it worked fine. Well, until it started hitting missing dependencies, like Forestry (atleast version 5.7.0.214 required). -

Actual modpack name would be helpful. -
Yes, there's a really easy way: Do not play pixelmon.
-
Maybe. just maybe, listen to the message and get java 8?
-
No you do not need a 2fa code.
-
Thank you. Please try updating your intel graphics drivers.

ADD A LONGER LOG PLS. THIS IS ALMOST USELESS.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP INSTALLING JAVA 9, 10, 11 12 OR WHATEVER IS HIGHER!!!

And now without the red lines which tells us ABSOLUTELY NOTHING?

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Registering texture 1 GB is not enough for 1.7.10 modpacks, you need atleast 3 GB. For which you need 64-bits java. Which you can install by downloading and installing the Windows Offline java installer.

Is V-sync enabled? If no, still no issue, as any excess fps is just "wasted".

Technic Pack open but wont launch any modpacks
JaariAtmc replied to PrussianSM's question in Technic Launcher
There's no need for a crashreport. This issue has been reported SO DAMN MUCH, and people just have to downgrade their java to 8u25 or 8u51. People don't check if their issue has been reported before, or comment on completely different issues with "me too" without actually checking if their issue is the same as the one they're responding to. -
When I try to go fullscreen in my modpack it crashes
JaariAtmc replied to StarZ563's topic in Platform Pagoda
Protip: Read again. Its using 5 gb, not 512 MB. -
The question is because MCleaks usage actually is one of the causes of this issue...

Black Screen and crash to launcher.
JaariAtmc replied to FasterThanFalcon's question in Technic Launcher
After manually replacing the forge version (now using 2824, you were using 2821, shouldn't actually matter), the pack starts without issues. -
Have you ever used a program called mcleaks?

Black Screen and crash to launcher.
JaariAtmc replied to FasterThanFalcon's question in Technic Launcher
The reason it gives you a black screen is because something goes wrong with the Forge Splash screen (forge loadup screen), which then disabled said splash screen. That turns into your black screen. It is still loading up. I do not know why your splash screen in this modpack has this issue. -
Do not use Forge for 1.12.2 if your modpack is 1.7.10.

Ever used something called Mcleaks? If yes, that's the cause of your issue.
