Honestly I was surprised Tinker's didn't make it into tekkit. I figured if any of the newer mods would make it in it would have been Tinker's and its companion mod Natura. It really spices up tool crafting.

On the topic of MOAR Mj generation, have you considered Advanced Power Systems (APS)? It's got a fusion reactor that puts out 500 MJ/t when heated up all the way. Here's the wiki. It's also got a solar power system if that's your thing. Does it's own MJ storage as well. It's not updated for 1.5 yet but I figured it'd be worth considering in the meantime.

Took the quiz and got 83% Romney and 79% Ron Paul. I suppose that's not very surprising since I consider myself a libertarian leaning republican. Really wish Paul had got the gop nomination though as Mitt just doesn't seem trustworthy. I'd vote for Gary Johnson but I can't support someone who's pro choice in good conscience.

Lolwut? It seems you have a somewhat misinformed view of how all of this works. Allow me to explain. Video ram =/= system ram. When a program is loaded it is copied from storage, your hard drive, to ram. This is because storage is far to slow to keep up with your systems cpu whereas ram is. Information that must be accessed constantly and quickly is stored in ram for use by the cpu and when no longer necessary is copied back to storage. Video ram is used exclusively by the video card for storing textures and other important video info in a quickly accessible form. The more vram the more the video card can do at once just like having more ram means your computer can do more at once. I hope this makes sense and doesn't seem like crazy rambling.

I've restarted several times simply because I find planing a base to be a pain in the ass. I get to the point where I have lots of materials and some endgame things and realize that my current hole in the wall is no longer sufficient for my storage/expansion/what ever needs. Last world I almost actually made a real base but id resolver decided to flip its shit because I wanted to install aps and decided to remove portions of my new base. I'm now on a new world and due to a lack of rubber I'm going to have to learn how to actually use buildcraft.
