Poryy should be banned for not knowing how to fix his obviously broken caps lock.
-
Shalezstorm should be banned for having a 'historic reference' on his picture, since history and the internet do not belong together.

I know for a fact there is a downloadable version of the well-known Lost Silver pasta. There are also a lot of Jeff the killer related ones, though many of the are poorly made. (Pewdiepie's channel has a lot of 'Horror' games on it, many of which were inspired by creepypasta)

Anything Mario or Pokemon related I played all the time. I also really liked spore. (I quit after the community turned into a massive Hellhole) As with Mooseman9 above of me, I also really liked the Legend Of Zelda games, especially Wind Waker. The 3 original Paper Mario games, however, were my favorites. They had great storylines, memorable battles, and overall fun gameplay. (Heck, my current avatar is from the 3rd one!) Anyway, these were my all-time favorite childhood games. :)

I believe Optifine can change the resolution. Check in the 'Other' section in the video settings menu.

I'm pretty sure it is free now, as it ended up as a slight failure buisness wise. But it was a fun game nonetheless. Here's a link to the home site. http://darkspore.com/

As with most Thursdays, a new Minecraft snapshot was released today! This snapshot added Item Frames, the ability to dye your leather armor, and most importantly, a new (work in progress) unique boss mob! For a full changelog, follow this link. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Version_history/Development_versions#12w34a What is your opinion on this new snapshot, and what do you think will be added next snapshot?

You may know about the game that was made about a year ago called Darkspore. It was made by EA and Maxis as a spin-off of their once popular game Spore, but it is a Hack and Slash genre game. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone one here ever played it and what you thought about it. Thank you for your time. :)

In previous versions of the Technic pack, there was a tomes mod, so if it matters that much, you can backdate. Other than that, you are pretty much out of luck.
-
I highly recommend NoCheat, which will render most griefing clients and duping bugs non-functional. Also, if you plan on keeping EE2 enabled, you should probably get thomasfn's patch to prevent griefing with EE2 objects. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/patch-for-ee-mining-tools-no-more-griefing-with-them.6642/

logged back on after the update, drastically changed world.
Sir_Grox replied to warface363's question in Technic Launcher
With the new update, most of the block IDs were changed, which explains why a large amount of your blocks were changed. Also, the mod that added the villager was called Millianaire, which was taken out. (I cannot remember why) But anyway, those changes were what caused your problem. -
In my opinion, this update was made to slightly increase the 'adventure' of minecraft. Some examples would be: Adventure Mode, the 2 temples, and slightly more balanced enchantment system. Another main part of the update was the major change to creative mode, turning it into a much more organized system. Lastly, many fixes and changes were made, such as cocoa bean growing, drowning not pushing you down, and easier controlled boats.

Um, I don't think that is right. I thought all that was saying was that mods woule be able to set extra information to mob spawners, such as the unused green robe villager, endermen with flowers, and villagers with custom trade offers. Like 1.1, this part of the update goes to the adventure map makers, making it easier to specify exactly how they want their map. (It also complements the new adventure gamemode, but that also falls into the adventure map category.) Now I may be wrong, but this is how I took that information.

Well, you obviously did something. You are Helen Kellered for a reason. You have to do something special to get rid of your status, not just ask.

Aether 2 Sneak Peek: http://www.mods-for-minecraft.com/aether2-sneak Kind of. I used to play a lot, and loved a small chunk of the community. (It was also from there that I learned about Minecraft.)
-
Good point. I was just throwing that idea out there. But knowing the how good the original one was, it will probably be great.
-
Well, instead of it being thrown into the Technic Pack, you could make Aether 2 (When it comes out) another choice in the launcher, as it will be a total overhaul.

Wow, the Smash 64 reference gave me an idea. For the dwarf, I think it should be able to pick up and throw monsters at each other. It fits the Dwarves are strong idea, and would make sense. This could be done by coding in so when the ability is used on a target, the target is forcibly 'mounted' onto you. You would then somehow make it so when thrown, it would hurt other monsters that it hits.

As I was recently going around looking at mods, I noticed the well known Evil Minecraft mod. Like H/M, they also have races. The races are very similar, but they already have passives. So Frizzil, if you read this, you may want to check out their Wiki, as they have some good ideas that you could base and expand H/M passives on. :)

What I meant by the Yogventures statement was how it could takr many of the Yogscast fans away from Minecraft for a long time, NOT how it was a Minecraft killer. (You would be surprised how many people bought Minecraft because the Yogscast told them about it, and how many would be taken away simply because they are making a game based on it.)
-
This is very true. Mojang needs to forget Scrolls, Cobalt, AND 0X10 projects and work on the game that brought them into existence. As for the Rip off statements, Notch does not care about how mod covered features are added. http://notch.tumblr.com/post/4955141617/the-plan-for-mods. Another problem is a lack of programmers. Many programmers are on Scrolls and cobalt, the Bukkit team is on the Mod API, leaving only Jeb and one other (Dinnerbone?) on the only game that will succeed. Lastly, the Mojang team NEEDS several breakthroughs by the end of the year, with the Yogscast working on their own game, (with a full team of programmers on their side) many Yogscast fans might stop playing Minecraft, and play that instead, and losing the Yogscast fans would be a disaster. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/winterkewlgames/yogventures Well, this is my two cents on what Mojang needs to do too keep the game that made them famous running. :)

Thank you all for your ideas! I moticed that lots of people want just reguler bonuses. However i personally think they should have an ability that a normal enchantment or rare loot can't give you. I also noticed that the dwarf is very hard to work with here, so just void out my idea, and try to think of a unique, fitting passive. Once again, thank you for your time! :)
-
True, but that seems too small of a passive. I think they should be able to send mobs farther back, as dwarfs are strong, PLUS your suggestion.
-
Hello! I would like to suggest a feature that would be pretty cool in Hack Slash Mine. I think each Race should have a passive. Now before I give some examples, I think that the climbing blocks as a ranger should be taken away, as that gives the Ranger a huge boost over the other 2. Instead, I think the Halfling should get the ability, as they are supposed to be small and nimble. Steves should get a small boost to most normal activities, since they are the balanced Race. Elves should get a keen sight ability, where they can see mobs that will drop loot. ( Loot in general, NOT just mini bosses. Lastly, Dwarves should be able to get triple the amount of blocks AND items from mining. Also, to prevent duplication, it would only effect blocks placed naturally, nothing placed by players. If anyone has any better ideas, or just want to comment, please reply. Frizzil, if you read this, please tell me how you stand on this suggestion. Thank you all for your time! :)
