Whoever did the art for all of this, kudos. You did an amazing job. Those're some sexy pictures.
-
It doesn't appear there is. Sorry. :/ Even with the old launcher you can't download it, as they've probably removed the downloads so people won't report bugs with them. You'd need a copy of the pack from someone who has it.

It's super easy to figure out the new URL. technicpack.net/forums became forums.technicpack.net, so the new link is http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/achievement-reset.18864/page-2#post-165198

Technic SSP became Tekkit Lite after the SMP-SSP merge of 1.3 Due to mod updates, removals, and additions, it will not have the same mods the old Technic SSP pack had. Not much to do about that other than trying to recreate it yourself. Even then, RedPower isn't being updated, so you'll be missing that...

You log in with the same information as the regular Minecraft launcher, so, for example: If your username is USERNAME and your password is PASSWORD in the regular launcher, your username is USERNAME and your password is PASSWORD on the Technic launcher.
-
Unless I'm wrong, Technic SSP became Tekkit Lite.

Not a problem. Very nice video, by the way. Your voice is easy to listen to.
-
Signing your name is actually against the rules here. I wouldn't suggest it.

Why would you post a solution in a threat that both already has a solution, and is nearly two months old?

There is no way that this is a legitimate post. If, however, I'm wrong and it IS a legitimate post, feel free to actually provide information, and, you know, post in the correct section. -
Wouldn't you just be able to extend the sheep class and override its drops?
-
It was indeed glaringly obvious. I'd tried shiftedIndex before, but I'd apparently done it wrong. Thanks for the help. Now, to override mob drops, should I be extending Entity<MobName>?
-
I can't seem to find a way to have the smelting input be an item rather than a block. GameRegistry.addSmelting(Item.egg, new ItemStack(CookedEggs), 0F); I hope that it's not glaringly obvious because feeling stupid isn't fun.

It does have a config file. It's either crashing before it generates it, which seems very unlikely, or you're looking for it in the wrong place. You could attempt finding someone else's copy of the config file somewhere on the Internet, change the IDs to some that work for your game, and put it in the correct place.
-
You can change item and block IDs in a mod's config file.
-
No one grasps that this is for making mods and not for requesting mods to be added to the modpacks.
-
Well, apparently she gave permission to use the mod, and she's kind of one of the lead developers of Forge; so extreme incompatibility seems rather unlikely.
-
The battery box is RedPower2, dealing in volts. The batbox is IndustrialCraft², dealing in EU. They're two different mods and two different powers. There may be a mod which can convert between the two (unlikely, because Eloraam seems to dislike people even looking at her mod wrong), but there is nothing to do so in Tekkit/Technic.

The only reason it would continue to bother you after using manual build selection is if you don't have the correct build that you're using selected. It has always and is still working fine for me. I assumed you'd done it wrong.
-
If you're just looking to stop it from asking you to update every time you open the launcher, do what I said. It's far easier than merging technicssp into .minecraft.
-
Open the launcher, choose options and select "Manual build selection". As long as it's on the version you're using, it will not ask you to update.
-
I guess I misunderstood that. I understand now that you were referencing the first game. Now I feel stupid. Wonderful.
