Yes, internet connection is a very important one, although it doesn't seem like it. I have to wait to host my server until we get fiber optic. It runs without lag but low connection is annoyin. Here are my specs: intel core i5 quad core 3.1ghz. Nvidia geforce gtx460 with 1 gig. 4 gigs of RAM (upgrading to 8 soon). And getting fiber soon.

Uhhh, have you checked if you're using tekkit or technic? Also, laptop isn't an OS, OS is for example windows 7 or Mac OS X. Also make sure what tekkit version the server is and what version you're using. Hope this helped

I actually ment one mod like hack slash mine, wasn't that clear, changed it , hack slash mine is a single mod, why not make another pack with a single mod? (A TCM to be exact), that's what I ment For the post under me: I'm not planning on making a pack myself, but what exactly did you mean?
