  1. And that's how the Fourth World Flamewar started. Back on subject (And out of the trollish off topic), I'd personally see the Aether mod better along something like Hack/Mine. I don't know for others, but to me, Technic is mostly a mod to make factories, or use EE to make everything easier, like mining, razing a mountain, killing a bazillion of zombies without moving (Ring of Ignition <3). Aether is more a RPG/exploration mod, unlike Technic. I can't really put it into words, but I don't feel like Aether has the same "feeling" or "atmosphere" as Technic, like they wouldn't fit together. Of course, all of this ignores that it's technically impossible to put both of them on the same modpack. Not saying Aether isn't a good mod, I find it amazing.
  2. As a test, you could see if you're able to run the mass fabricator without completely emptying your MSF, or not too fast at least. If you can, I'd say your energy production is fair enough.
  3. This is serious indeed. I haven't tried Hack/Mine yet, but it would have been fun fighting the dragon with the spells and such. I am surprised the modders didn't think about this.
  4. The EE is still in the recommended build, don't worry. And I am pretty sure it's going to stay in the next updates too, it's such a great mod.
  5. I myself isn't advanced enough yet to answer this question satisfyingly, but I'd say that the loss would be pretty small, even if you used the 3/4 ins HV cables. After all, the more intense a current is, the less loss of energy there is in distance, and nuclear energy is pretty much the most intense there is, since it is EV (Extreme Voltage). I was wondering the other day if there was any way to transmit EU wirelessly, but I haven't found an answer yet.
  6. Note to oneself : Never convert a diamond into cobble with EE...
