  1. Oh, don't worry, this is the kind of thing that you probably don't want to show you know in public. Russian machinery at it's finest.

I Think It Would Be Better To Add This Famous McDonald Mod, The One Who Adds McDonalds In The NPC Villages. i tink it woud be betr to ad da mcdo mod, it ads mcdees in de villges I'm having a very hard time deciding which is more painful, both to write and to read...
  3. Well, there's Lamborghini, there's Ferrari, there's Rolls Royce, and just then, there's Lada. A Lada is a combustion engine, wheels, (crappy) seats and a bit of cheap glass and plastic. No buttons.
  4. Well, I can see nobody has anything to say about the Lada.
  5. Well, maybe a bit. After all Technic is all about creating ridiculously complicated systems to make ridiculously amazing things. For this reason, I have a flat creative world to experiment, simply. I perfectly understand someone who'd want to make their experiments in their main world.
  6. After seeing your collector's room, I feared you might lack some space... This worry has just been terminated.
  7. Lock recipe mode = Put false rather than true, then you can go in options while in your inventory to use cheat mode.
  8. My dad often talks to me about the XL Pizzas for 25 cents... Now, I pay the octuple for a box of chocolate milk. I think that's what can be called Bull$#!+.
  9. It's nothing. :D
  10. Well, if we take the Middle-Age France (Might be better in Middle-Orient, but I don't know the numbers, so I won't bother). At least 96% of the population is peasants. They can't read, they can barely talk. They put their infants in bags in the house, and those sometimes survive if their parents remember to feed them. All they do all day is work in their fields and mostly starve, so they don't have any intellectual quality, but for the one kid on thousand who manage to become religious. Religious who're part of the remaining 4%, along with the nobles and the bourgeois. The nobles can rarely read, since they mostly sit on their asses and have their "mini-nobles" grab most of the possessions of the peasants. The occasional merchant, bourgeois, can count and read, but they're a ridiculously scarce. So, what's left is the religious. Ironically, back in those days, the only intellectuals, authors etc. were from the priesthood. Now, if we take today's... U.S.A. Well, most of the people can read, and count. That's already an improvement. Also, only 40% of the population believes in creationism, compared to a flat 100% in Middle-Age (The rest got their head taken care of). Now, there certainly is a majority of unreasonable people in this country. But things improved, and I am optimistic enough to hope they will continue to do so. But it isn't like we can really argue about those, they are boring hard facts, and I even forgot why I wrote them out. Back on topic, I really hate pennies. I don't see why there still are pennies. I mean, were pennies ever useful to anyone? Ever?
  11. You'll probably want to watch the tutorial series by Duncan. It explains very well all the aspects of the mod. Watching it myself greatly helped me get through.
  12. Basically, this idea to its ultimate would create a dystopia... I can't say you're wrong, it is indeed what the final result would be. This is why balance is important in everything. If right of speech and democracy could be conserved in the process, I think it would help negate the vile effects you're talking about, such as tyranny, dehumanization, etc. However, where you're perfectly right is that this model would need a society where all, or at least a majority of the population is reasonable, which is a pretty surrealistic goal, I will admit. But, hey, we can always hope. If we compare the society of the Middle-Age, and the one now, I am sure the ratio of reasonable and educated people has been considerably improved.
  13. Uh, "Even hotter Topic" Is making an iron furnace... I am nowhere near having all the achievements, and even if I'm at Quantum tier, I don't even have a tenth because since I did things in the wrong order, there's a bunch I didn't unlock.
  14. I guess I could just repeat it, but I really couldn't describe my line of thought batter than with this video. It is basically about how it is perfectly possible to have a moral society oriented toward the reduction of suffer in general for its citizen, while still being atheist. It's a bit long, but definitely worth it. I'd also go watch the rest of the series. And why not the other videos of the channel.
  15. Some Apple mouses don't have any buttons, only a kind of sensor to detect when you "click".
  16. You have to connect the pipes to the quarry. Directly, not to the engines.
  17. Okay I found it. http://thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/Power_Converters Search for the energy link. First connect your wind turbine energy to the energy link, then connect it to the quarry using conductive pipes. This should work.
  18. http://technicpack.wikia.com/wiki/Electrical_Engine This is what you're searching. I am using some myself. Oh wait, I am sorry, this seems to be only in Technic. I think there is an item that can do what you want, wait a minute.
  19. It won't work because combustion engines will want fuel to work (Refined oil). What you're looking for is electrical engines, they can work with electricity. Also, if you're only using one turbine, it probably can't produce enough power to make the engines work, those are quite consuming. You will probably want a bunch of turbines, and maybe also solar panels and arrays, if you want the quarry to work properly.
  20. It makes a while something made me cry, but this, this is just so emotional, so dramatic, I couldn't help but let a tear flow...The way the creeper innocently opens his arms up, only to face the cold denial of Steve... Sniff... Keep it up! Also, Articulate Teens For The Win! (I'm 14 :3)
  21. The awkward moment when you reported a moderator, then another one comes and you ask him who he is...
  22. I laughed far too much while reading this.
  23. Farm Sim For the Win! And btw, this video is probably the most entertaining on Youtube. A must for any gamer. Try minimalism for the starters, and build on what you've already made. You don't need that much to get to orbit, only three thrusters and a bit of fuel should do the trick. And each time you add a stage, you have to make it stronger, don't forget.
  24. Same with the PS3. A fridge. A door. A thermostat. A Lada, without any extras doesn't have any buttons.
  25. Does that mean that the armor will last longer, take more hits, but reduce less the damage received? It seems to be the logic used with iron.
