Have you switched increase perm gen on? (There is a guide to do this in the sticked post at the top of this forum) It will probably fix the first and third issues. The second is probably just something has been missed out of the config files for nether ores. I've never taken a look at these config files, but if you take a look at this you can probably disable it yourself.

If you copy the server files down to your computer, do you get the same thing happening? Also how much RAM does your server host provide you with? Finally have you checked with the provider that they aren't having any issues?

With Forestry's trees, natura's bits and pieces, Microblocks and whichever mod adds the white and black stone (I think MFR) we have plenty of cosmetic blocks available. I admit it would maybe some additional stone types would be nice, but generally I'm happy with what we've got.

I just did a quick google search and found this mod:- http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1770319-152sspsmp-fewer-ravines-less-caves-11/ It doesn't appear to be a forge mod so might not be compatible, but it sounds like exactly what you want, if you can get it working.

IC2 is because of the reason mentioned above and RP2 because it doesn't actually have a release for 1.5 MineCraft, and without it being open source then it's not possible to have a fork to 1.5 (which is what has happened to IC2). If you check through these forums though you'll see people have managed to find alternatives to pretty much everything both mods can do, and often better.

It might not fix it, but you might want to look at updating your version of Java, it's quite a long way out of date...

It's End Stone on the outside, and as dark_hunter said make sure you are holding a diamond in your hand when right clicking on the glowstone in the middle.

That's a rather sweeping statement. Hamachi uses AES-256 encryption, so is as secure as an IPsec or SSL VPN connection. It's actually just down to how the user configures it that makes it insecure, though given that it uses RSA to handshake, a password is fine to allow the level of security that most users need. Anyway on topic, I'd also advise to try the 127.0.0.1 as the ip address and see what happens - I seem to recall when I ran a similar setup a few years ago Minecraft didn't like connecting to Himachi on my own computer, but the localhost address worked fine.

You don't actually need to smelt the slime crystals. Just put the stencil in the left hand slot of the Part Builder and then the crystal in the slot just right of this. This will create the part in the right hand slot (as well as a chunk - I forget what's its called with Silme - which can be used to make more parts). I'd recommend looking up DireWolf20's video on YouTube of Tinkers Construct, it's pretty informative.

It was a bug in the version of MPS that is in version 1.3.9, it's fixed in newer versions of MPS.

I would highly doubt it's possible and a new world is probably best, just based on the sheer number of world gen mods removed and added in version 1.3.2

I have fallen in love with this modpack as I'm far too lazy to do lots of mining. However I am completely failing to find any carrots whatsoever, I wonder if there was some sort of devastating war which killed off all the local Testificates, as the only village I've found so far after exploring hundreds and hundreds of blocks has been a sky village, where apparently they don't grow carrots. And I really want carrots as I have evil plans to build automatic cow, sheep, chicken and pig slaughtering farms. Also I had no end of trouble scrapping enough AE Quartz together to build my AE network, but since that's all set up now I don't really mind anymore. So I was just wondering what other people are struggling (by Big Dig standards) to find and how are you getting round them?

Then isn't the "rest of the stuff" ie. our cells, the energy synthesis facility?
