I'm not entirely sure where the sound files are supposed to be located for Matmos. I think it may be under the resource folder in the folder that the installer created for the game. Maybe take a look to see if the files are actually there? I think the sounds would be under a folder called mods, or something like that. I don't know if it's in another folder in the resource folder. I don't have the actual game files with me right now, so this may be completely incorrect.

I know that this may seem redundant, but have you tried doing the same thing that you did to fix it before? You haven't written it down, so I have to assume you haven't.

If you pirate it, then you don't get anything but being able to play the singleplayer, and you're luck you even get that, because Notch/Jeb could make some sort of DRM that makes it so you can't even do that.

Also, to make a custom texture pack for the Technic pack, you would need to create more than one hundred new textures. I asked Rodox (I think I may have spelled that wrong) if he was planning on making support for it, and he gave me a number around that, maybe higher. So yeah, support by the makers of texture packs for this mod pack will either take a long time, or will never happen at all.

If your mouse actually has a right mouse button on it, use that to drop one piece of whatever you are holding into the slot. The way you're doing it may not work right because Technic has an inventory management mod in it. It changed controls around a little, and it may have changed it enough so that your way doesn't work anymore.

You could try to do a comic on a schedule like every Monday and Thursday. I follow one comic that does that. I mean, sure it's unusual, but it gives you the max amount of time possible for a two comic a week type of thing. Unless if you're already doing it and I missed you saying that.

Ignorance of the rules does not mean exemption from the rules. I thought it was common practice to always, always, always read the rules when you join a new forum.

The mother of all solutions is trial and error. Give it a try. Maybe it will work. If not, you could probably assume something wasn't installed right. Also, do you have any extra mods installed on your client?

Don't bash on vanilla. It has its own charm to it. When I used to use texture packs every once and a while I would go back to the normal texture. I would be so amazed that the textures were so simple and still be so good looking. I've done the same with the Technic pack as well. You should never forget the origin of what you are using.

The sound for matmos must have defaulted to 0 for you. Press F9 (I think) and there should be a UI element that will appear. Note: If it doesn't appear, then you either don't have Matmos installed for some reason, or it isn't working right. Looking up will turn the volume for Matmos up, and looking down will turn the volume down. I think default is 100%.

There's a suggestion thread for a reason. Go and post it on there and people will probably not be as angry at you for posting it in the wrong spot and will be more willing to actually look at what you are suggesting. Just saying. (Sorry if this is a bit rude, but it's probably one of the better reactions you will get.)

Is the energy link in the current release of Technic and I'm just missing it, or do you have to download it as an addon?

I don't think you can add mods to the .jar the launcher creates as of right now. You also need to remember that the pack itself leaves very few block IDs for additional mods to be added, so I don't think Xie Farming will fit, which is probably why it was removed from the current version. No there is not, which is why it was removed from the current version so that other, possibly better, mods could be added.

I don't think your 1.0.0 map will work for Tekkit 2. Also, Tekkit is down and out for the moment anyway.

Re: Common Problems (And their solutions) I had that problem too JD. The only way around it that I found is to download it through another computer, move all the files to the computer you use, and use the bin to launch it. I was having a mix of problems involving the launcher, so you may be able to use the launcher instead.

Re: A note to laptop users that have OPTIMUS enabled graphics cards. Just copy and paste this into the either Cafe Lame or Technic SSP Bugs and edit this one to have a different name, such as Ignore This, and change the content to something like Nevermind or Snip.

I agree, it was horrible the first two days after the release of Technic 6. I'm one of those people who has Firefox Gestures (get it, it's an awesome addon) and I open almost all the new posts in a new tab. Used to be I would get a resource limit everyone once in a blue moon, but during the release, I got it 24/7. Now it just hangs up on loading the page.

I think this does have something to do with Convenient inventory. Try disabling it and then trying to do it, as simply re-installing it won't do anything because it's part of CE.
