Server Administration - 1. I can set myself as an admin, and turn off PvP and if mobs are spawned via the server.txt file. Tekkit Skill - I'd have to say 4. I spend a lot of time getting the resources to get IC2 up and running, and then begin to dabble. I dabbled my last server in EE, and absolutely hated it. Nothing like an EMC flower to just ruin my idea of the game. I rather enjoy robbing the world of resources and seeing it decay in front of my eyes. I've barely touched the rest of the mods. The server I'm currently on I'm just learning Buildcraft.

Every day I learn something new about Technic/Tekkit. I hate combustion engines.

Wait, how are we powering quarries with batboxes? I thought you had to use engines. Did I miss something?

The more I read this thread, the more curious I get. First of all, I don't give a rat's ass about permissions. I agree wholeheartedly with the relation to Obama's birth certificate. He's running our country, and we haven't been completely destroyed yet, so why do we care about that? This modpack gives ample credit where the credit is due, they just do what it takes to make the mods work together. So why do we care about who has permission to do what? If the modpacks really didn't want us using it, they would tell us, and I'm sure the devs would take it out, albeit sadly. Then we'd have a tutorial on how to install it ourselves, and life would go on happily. Second, everyone on the internet is a tough guy. They always want to be right, regardless if what they are right about it wrong. They will fight to the death to be right. I dunno, makes them all warm and fuzzy inside or something. Intelligent conversation/banter/discussion is one thing, but yelling and screaming without traces of evidence is a completely other matter.

Alright, then it looks like you've got some sort of bug. I'm no good at figuring this stuff out (I usually just do trial and error until I can play), so I'd go ahead and check out the Bugs/Problems section of the forum. One of the stickies could help you out. :)

I agree with this. Everyone is going to have their own opinion, and sadly, most of them don't take a moment of their day to actually form a logical opinion. It is much easier on the internet to just point fingers and yell. That only causes drama and doesn't solve anything.

No, I'm just using a figure of speech. Torezu said he wanted to go in and nuke the code for it. Well, he said "MC Edit Murder" but that means the same thing as "nuking" without the actual nukes, in my opinion.

Yes, both packs are used for 1.2.5 only. The modders haven't gotten around to updating them as of yet. :)

I think a mod should give it a locking tweetment.
