  1. what engine are you using?
  2. tekkit has an outdated version of world edit shipped with it. this is where the newest version has been released. it allows modifying of modded blocks (i just checked)
  3. wrong board. your thinking of tekkit, also yes you can disable stuff in the server config file ee.props or something similar to that.
  4. the quarrys problem has shown up before, you need to either edit your cfg files so that an admin is the fakeplayer in them, or add the fakeplayers listed in the BC forestry redpower and ic2 ( believe they all have fake players) to the admin list. example pulled outta the buildcraft cfg file general { # Causes login and join events to be sent for the fake player. This may help some plugins, but will cause errors with others. YMMV. blocks.fakeplayerlogin=false # Configures the name of the fake player used when blocks.placedby=fakeplayer blocks.fakeplayername=[buildCraft] # Configures BLOCK_PLACE and BLOCK_BREAK events. Options are 'null' and 'fakeplayer' blocks.placedby=fakeplayer
  5. well after loading it up SMP theres a boatload of options that you can turn off in the config file so im sure you could do it that way, or even the simple turn off the mod in modloader way
  6. at least the technic guys are nice enough to give you all of the block id's in use here
  7. who wastes the time using cobble? i macerate that cobble into sand, melt it down into glass then make it into panes. 6 cobble=16 items to toss into the scrap processors , then use a quarry to supply the cobble for it and your good to go.
  8. This mod a little ways down the page is what is used in tekkit to convert BC power to EU and EU to BC power.
  9. i ask simply because they finally got a bukkit port of it.
  10. yeah, know what your talkin about with it needing to be in a folder, i was just saying that if that restriction wasnt there, the number in front wouldnt matter.
  11. ive had that error, and i posted about it in another thread. basicly your pipes are either in an infinate loop or something happened that dropped a boatload of items on the ground from pipes. i could be wrong about that, but from my experiance thats what seems to cause it.
  12. the best idea i can offer you is to copy your world over to single player and figure out whats stopping up your pipes. this could be reallly difficult if you have a lot of people on your server and you dont know where they all have pipes. if your problem could exist in the nether, you can take the DIM-1 folder out of the (default world_nether) folder and put it into your main world folder when you copy it over to single player. just remember to move it back to the nether folder when you put that back on your server. its a fairly technical solution so keep back ups of your world just in case you break it. if you have questions you can PM me or just reply in this thread.
  13. im pretty sure the reason it doesnt work for computercraft is because its NOT in a zip folder, if it was then im sure it wouldnt have been a problem.
  14. the files to run the game are one directory up from the texture pack folder .you can copy the files over to your default minecraft folder and probably use the default launcher to run it. i honestly havent tried it since the game works fine for me.
  15. the way i see it, maybe if we beg and plead they will tell us which block id's were messed up and we can refrain from having those placed when the new version pops up. (you can also back up you client so when the day comes that they update you can remove them before updating to the new version.)
  16. well, the funny part is, you have them all. if you wanna see EXACTLY where the files are and your too lazy to look, go in and click the texture packs button and then the open texture packs folder button and there it all is.
  17. i did read the current bug list and tried that solution. it didnt work. i spent 12 hours beating my face into the proverbial wall on that till i found out the worlds worked in single player.
  18. I discovered a potential fix for the buildcraft pipe errors. IF you have FTP access to your server, you can download your world to your computer and put the world into your .minecraft/saves folder. when you do that you can start your world up in single player and go find the pipes that have stuff going through them and turn them off. my friends server has had this error happen like 3 times the first time i have no idea what caused it but it caused a world wipe, the second time i created an infinate loop using dia pipes n such, the 3rd time our quarry overloaded our sorting system.
