i figured out a workaround. first open C:\Users\<insert username here>\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\launcher\technicssp\modpack.yml and change builds: 7.3.4: minecraft: 1.4.2 to minecraft: 1.4.4 so it will actually install the modpack. close the launcher completely after it installs.then change 1.4.4 back to 1.4.2. then open the C:\Users\<insert username here>\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\technicssp\minecraft.yml and change current: 1.4.4 to current: 1.4.2 close that download http://assets.minecraft.net/1_4_2/minecraft.jar ( this is from mojang) and replace the minecraft.jar in the C:\Users\<insert username here>\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\technicssp\bin folder launch and it works.

Possible to keep Electrical Engines from Forestry?

place the energy link in the same spot as the electrical engine switches and redstone torches ect turn off the energy link if you redstone power it. your still better off using redpower filters to pull out stacks if your trying to get a LOT moving. -

Can't paste or modify anything with world edit if there is a mob spawner in it.

actually theres a MUCH simpler way to go about doing this. in the server.properties file theres a line that says "online-mode=true" if you set that to false it doesnt check your account.

first, im reasonably sure that you mean 2.1.1 since thats the latest version, and second this is what your probably looking for when your askin how to get the dev build client.

theres two solar panels, one uses blue doped wafers, that wont work with what your trying to do.

did you extract all of the files from the install zip into the same place?

if you use notepad to open it, you see java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui pause how much ram do you have in your system? is it running 64-bit java? if its not running 64-bit java and/or doesnt have 3 gigs of ram, change it to java -Xmx1536M -Xms1024M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui pause

i just tested this out by turning off the explosion chance in the cfg file then loading up a single player world. i used a catalytic lense to mine several bags worth of ore and netherack and theres none of the useless ores i normally encounter

i have 4 generators using an energy link (charcoal powered with a condenser feeding them charcoal) and its running a 62x62 one just fine.
