  1. Ah yes I assumed they worked the other way around too even though never trying that so thanks.
  2. Are you sure? :)
  3. Yeah that fact is really really unbelievable.
  4. I can't see the images but I think you will need the engines to connect to wooden conductive pipes and then connect those to any other conductive pipe and that should go into an energy link or a engine transformer - and then it can go in to a batbox or MFSU or whatever.
  5. The solution is in a million other threads made by others like you and if you would have searched for it you would have found all of them and then I wouldn't have to tell you that you have to manually select the correct build in your launcher (in the options) and it would not have pissed me off so much that I actually said something nasty to my wife and then she would not be pissed off and divorce me and take the children and the cat and the tv. And I bloody love that tv.
  6. Sorry, but what is the problem? You don't like them? :)
  7. Could be Herobrine resetting all your stuff. ;)
  8. Wasn't it gold ingots and redstone in the shape of the TNT recipe? I heard it still works sometimes though...
  9. In the olden days I remember having to build redstone clocks to power them. But that was like so long ago, I can't imagine this to be the solution. Anyway, as for the problem at hand. It needs bc power (I haven't used one in months so I am a bit rusty) so what I used to do was this - it may help you. If it doesn't then the solution is that you are screwed and may need a reinstall of everything. Anyway. A quarry needs a designated area or it will pick it's own 9x9 zone. Once you place one, you should get some kind of 3d rectangle - unless - you designated an area and failed in placing the quarry at any corner point. So, definitely tell us if you got some kind of yellow/black rectangle. Then, it needs power. I usually took an energy link and placed it next to the quarry and hooked that up to my MFSU network. Time is money you see, move that drill. As soon as I succeeded in powering it, it starts to build the orange structure. Confirm to us if you have an orange structure. When the orange structure was there it would spout stuff, but that is beyond the scope of this. And for science sake use a spell checker.
  10. That is actually quite an old and widely used design if you allow me to be honest...
  11. Quarry needs electricity, not bc power, right?
  12. After a long time or after a short time?
  13. I googled it for you. This was the first hit when I used the term 'uninstall program windows'. http://kb.iu.edu/data/aixt.html If this is not highly enlightening I suggest using similar search keywords in your own google.
  14. Aww man that is a shame. Hope it resurfaces. I can't imagine this was intended as he was really making an effort there (with dynmap and what have you).

  15. Can't believe that in all honesty but we'll see. :)
  16. Ok. What I looks like to my layman eyes is that it's trying to confirm your username on minecraft.net but it receives either nothing or gibberish back. Since Internet explorer can read the site, I am inclined to think your java installation is the culprit. Would you mind trying to deinstall it and try again installing the latest version from java.com?
  17. It means the very basic of network analysis... Never mind. Can you get on minecraft.net with a browser like Internet explorer.
  18. Can you ping minecraft.net?
  19. The biggest difference between them is how much eu/t they produce... You can go from wind (2-4 eu/t) to nuclear (up to and supposedly sometimes higher than 2400 eu/t). However, most people draw from power supplies, and there only a few; the batbox (32eu/t), the MSU (128eu/t) and the MFSU (512eu/t). Your machines take up to 32 eu/t which is equal to a batbox output. If you want them to use a higher supply family, you will need to use a transformer, or use transformer upgrades in your machines or they will blow up.
  20. There is one true block named generator - it is a furnace with a machine block and a battery iirc. There are however many blocks that will generate power; geothermal generators, various solar panels, windmills, water driven thingies, stuff that turns engines in to generators... A lot. :)
  21. Hmm. Well I'd go with the solution above; I never did try hooking stuff up without bat boxes in between.
  22. The generator has fuel? I never had generators that did not connect; sorry for asking this but do you get a generator screen when you right click it?
  23. Sorry, but why did you hook it up to a machine block? It needs power; machine blocks are much like dirt in this respect; they don't give power...
  24. This is real? I have been here only for a few days and I wish to show my respect for the moderating team here. Hang in there guys.
