There's always a little inaccuracy so I suggest to deal with it. :/

I'm disappointed about what they did to the title. :(

Itt we learn some people suck at spot the troll. :)

I tried it all. Only way it works is if I use the normal distro (so with myst) and add forestry before first start.
-
Yeah then it works. Yeah okay I'll see if I can get a bug report. I kind of abandoned the whole idea now, so its going to be hard. At some point I wondered if some type of world is created by default to allow mystcraft worlds as if it is some virtual drive. It kind of made sense. Somehow. :/

I am a chemical engineer by training so I get my joy from working out massive projects. Anyway, I'm looking for a good place to build my projects. Secret code: 8xtr

Hi guys, not sure if I'm in the right section since we have all these new platform threads, but since my question is mainly about the lite pack I'm guessing this is the right section. Anyways, what I'm trying to do is get basically 0.6.0 with forestry but without mystcraft. So from a server perspective, I have the basic 0.6.0 server distro. I then remove myst, and add forestry. (I also removed the config txt for myst). The first start of the launch.sh however returns an error where forestry can't find some world. I suspect we're talking about a mystcraft world, because when I start from scratch, and leave mystcraft it does work fine. Now I don't understand this at all. Without mystcraft in the pack, I thought the first run would simply create overworld, nether and end, and the forestry jar has nothing to do for any other worlds because they simply aren't created. So can someone explain why I need mystcraft in the pack for forestry to work? And what I should do to get a world without the mystcraft but with forestry? Thanks!

It's called a Logistics Power Junction btw, I was wrong on the name.
-
You need one logistics power management block. And if you have one, it should be connecting to your logistics network via a basic log pipe. The only other option is that you are not delivering power to the network because of another fault in connecting up but I'll assume that isn't the problem.

Nope... Edit, or maybe yes... But I did not touch the zone here, just something near the spawn.
-
If its not just me I think I should move it to bug status then... I'll file one later. Thanks!

Hi, I have this funny thing where I find turtles in my world tucked away as if they were a lump of resource. It seems they have replaced some type of ore... I upgraded my server 5.8.1 with the 5.9 files, and the turtles have item code 209 now. Does anyone know if 209 used to be ferrous ore? Or some other type? Does anyone know what I should do to revert it back? I don't want those stupid turtles anyway.
-
No thanks I have it covered. With table b I mean that if you share chests, the tables could see the resource meant for the other in the chest as the one they were waiting for.
-
I tried that, I advise against it. For instance, when you use it as a satellite, any redstone you'd need for recipe a could be eaten by table b. I'm now waiting for my quarry to come up with enough copper, tin and iron. And then I'm requesting the big one. The high voltage solar array. When i requested it it said i needed about 1,5 k of each ore, the rest it has covered. It's gonna be epic seeing that fly about through my base. I should film it with Wagner under it or something....
-
Yeah I kind of wondered about that as well. There must be some secret place where they keep the change logs and bug status. Why the server files are so relatively hard to find I don't know but I guess they want the public at large to go with recommended and the freaks only with bleeding. So making it hard kind if does that. :D

I'm still in doubt about this game. I think ea is not doing much for the gaming world except taking their money. Especially the last few years...
-
One tip, set them apart from each other. I just had a major wtf moment as the tables ejected their created stuff in their neighbouring table's inventory and therefore did not fulfil the request. Finally. Auto crafting log pipes. Does life get any sweeter, tekkit wise? (Yeah it does because auto crafting the dreaded hv solar array still is a bit of a challenge due to the lapotrons)

Auto sort macerator buffer question
xtrasyn replied to bradbrochill's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
This. The very best. No cloggings, backlogs, or what have you, but do know that if you put gold pipes in there and throw an insane amount of items in the loop you will get some visual effects. (just throw a few types of stuff in there that doesn't macerate and keep adding blocks to the pipes) -
it depends what recipe you tell it to act upon. When you set it to something it will stick to it (the red crosshair thingy). To make all 4 chipsets you will have to put down 4 assembly tables, all set to a certain chipset... Just like you need an autocrafter for every recipe.

Love is in the air Casstor. This works! Also, this is the only article on the internet now solving this problem, so congratulations. Finally I can automate a very tedious bit of work. I never thought it was possible to put a crafting pipe on a chest and get results. Learned something today then! edit: Searched for 'autocrafting chipsets' in google. This page is the second result. Good stuff. :p

Tutorial: How to get any version of Tekkit Lite
xtrasyn replied to Maxis010's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
It's available now... http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitlite/Tekkit_Lite_Server_0.6.0.zip -
Somehow it doesn't work to edit the previous post again. So yeah, inadvertedly double posting. Anyway. Case at hand test #3. Added a obsidian transport pipe on top of the crftng log pipe on the side. Doesn't work. At all. Not even when I power it. It still spits out the chipset at the crafting log pipe. Test #4. Added a few piped so that the obspipe is RIGHT ABOVE the Assembly table. Doesn't work. Test # 5. Smashed up everything and blew it up with TNT. Refreshingly enough, that works just fine. I feel a lot better. Test #6. Added a second chest in the network with an item sink in it requesting chipsets. Finally, this works to some degree. Made chips are transported off to the new chest. BUT why the hell will it not go to the requester pipe?! Gathering mental prowess to set up a recipe needing the chipset to see if it will whizz off to the next step. Urgh. Why isn't this stuff simple, it's all buildcraft; it's not like I'm going cross mod here. :( edit: Meanwhile I am wondering why the crftng log pipe won't pick up the chip, as it pops out exactly there... Has it timed out? Hmmm
