You should try insertion pipes on Barrels. Since they take only one item, you can run an entire line of insertion pipes over them without loss of space. That or the Deep Item Starage from minefactory reloaded (takes only one type of item as well, i think).

If I can hijack, how do you handle overflow? With a terminus module?

Reading that I was probably incorrect about the transposers (they aren't named explicitly, anyway) but I don't use them much. Filters have that bit of extra awesome (at the price of doped wafers, but yeah okay).

a buffer will auto pulse any filters or transposers (every 5 sec, but every 500ms when it's full or nearly full) you connect directly to it. Since you can attach both BC pipes and RP tubes to your buffers, I'm sure you can figure something out. It will cost an additional block here and there spacewise, but it is a sexy solution.

I want to let the entire crew of technit know they are FRAUDS. Really, I am foaming from the mouth with anger. I have posted before that I had my world completely tweaked out. Everything was working fine, I had a massive lapotron factory and a nether lava plant, there must have been 10.000 hours of work in that world. Then YOU bunch of idiots decide to bring out a new version. I didn't really check when I clicked update because I actually thought it was a java update and I was sick at the moment and my mom and grandpa were yelling at me so I clicked yes before i knew it. Now it's bad enough that you cheat and steal mods from people against their will and post phoney IRC logs to legitimize your theft (I know slowpoke close, he's a good friend of mine since we went to the same dentist once and he knows everything, because direwolf20 idles in his channel) but why are you so STUPID to KNOWINGLY and ACTIVELY destroy my world? Nothing works anymore and I actually cried a little and kicked my brothers ass because he saw me and called me a homo so this I actually blame you for that as well. I demand you roll back the update and make sure that in the future I can always play my old worlds without problems because you have an obligation to this community. I look at your ads so I make you a lot of money, this should be enough for you to have the decency to not bloody destroy the creativity of the users that you have an OBLIGATION to as they stuck with you even though you guys are CLEARLY ASSHOLES. Hi there, I tried a search first but I'm afraid my answer is buried somewhere in a 25 page thread about forgebukkit... I'm really sorry if you think I'm wasting your time with this but a quick shout out to a few friends has convinced me a lot of people would like to see a simple, searcheable one post answer. The version numbers and the myriads of mods make it hard to be confident while doing this. So. How do I get Essentials and WorldEdit on my Lite server 5.8.1? And what problems could I experience? As far as I was able to find out, I need Bukkitforge. Can any of you who have been succesful in this please provide me with a working link for the right version that I will need? Then I read I have to make a plugins folder, and throw the plugins in there. Is this correct? Then I need a special version of essentials... Probably named ForgeEssentials... But, which version? There seem to be a gazillion of them, and I don't know which one I should take... So please can you link me up to the right download for 5.8.1? And then, worldedit. Same questions... What version, where will I get it? After this, is there anything new I should be aware of? I read something about permissions not working, is this a showstopping disfunctionality or will it work as long as I don't use it muchly? This is probably very easy for some of you so please convert any annoyances you may experience into the energy to reply to this with the right instructions please. Thank you in advance.

I may have phrased the question wrong due to lack of insight, but when I have to select a version for a plugin, and I have to choose a bukkit version, is it safe to assume I need CB 1.2.5-R5.0 types? I looked at the list of enclosed mods/plugins, and did a search, but did not find it there. I hope it is not so easy to find that I will feel stupid in a few minutes.

Yeah well sorry. It was neatly tucked away. To my defense I connect through tapatalk which is rather dressed down and I had 'questions regarding smp servers' on my mind so swap shop did not really register as the place to go to - I know I frown upon people that post ssp questions in smp sections but hey, give me this one. :)

Also thanks for pointing me to the existence of the server op swap shop; definitely would have posted this thread there if I found it earlier. :)

Sorry if I want very clear but yeah our server DOES have forestry (we put it on ourselves; technic pack may have issues with sengir but we as users really like his mod).

Thanks, good post. Thing is; this isn't my first server by a long shot and I actually want to do it right this time around... As for you saying Tekkit should take care of the ores; people still ask what the strange brown ore is (forestry copper) so maybe installing the forestry mod after the main package omits it from the stringent ore creation rules... Dunno.

I want to learn/read up on the delicate phase between setting up a basic server and letting the first 50 users on. i'll elaborate a bit. There's a few things that are not really convenient about tekkit smp. Some items need to be banned, some mods need to be installed, you know. Now the first thing is that when you for example use basic tekkit with forestry and the force fields you end up with three types of copper, two types of tin, you know. How can I modify this so that on world creation, there is only one type of each generated? Then there is the whole item ban thing. I can appreciate there being stuff I want to ban. I'd like to ban the Watch for example; but as it is used in a recipe for gem armour, can I change that recipe so that in stead of the watch it will accept a dark matter block for that ingredient? And if I can, how will I make it so that people will see the new recipe in their NEI consoles? Then there is the whole lag reducing thing. I'd like to allow a lot, ideally, but it will at some point run into lag. So actually I would like the option of setting a maximum number of <item x> placed per chunk. Is this possible at all? Then the administration part. The tekkit pack is nice but not really cut towards 20+ users. What admin packs would you advise given that I would like to see at any point in time what a player has done or crafted. Also protection options have my interest; what can I use to protect the contents of furnaces, stop solar array theft and what have you? I know I am asking a lot of questions at the same time, but I think that phase between installation and letting users on can make or break a server so even if I have to tinker with config files for two weeks, I'd prefer that over having to reboot the server twice per day, losing regulars because it's 'just too laggy' or losing their stuff in mini-rollbacks. I'd like to stress that I am not asking for someone to write my configs; I'd like help from or interaction with people that run bigger servers and learn from each others mistakes and maybe even come to a 'common procedure' that will harden servers beyond the 'me and my four friends'-servers.

The power won't flow if there is nothing 'consuming' it on the other end. I always test with a lv engine generator in one end.
