I made a few test setups, and my apologies. I have no idea what the Advanced Crafting Table is for, but I haven't got it to make chipsets. But, indeed, you can set the assembly table to work in a logistics setup. I attached a crafting pipe to the bottom, and configured it to bring in gold and redstone and expect a gold chipset. After the 'request' for a golden chipset, it neatly has the gold and redstone in its inventory. I start the creation by clicking on the gold chipset, and the lasers start to power up. They craft a golden chipset just fine. So far so good. But. When it's done it doesn't 'suck up' the chipset! It just spits them out to the top side. Now I'm thinking, I could place a satellite pipe on a chest next to it, but will it pick them up? Suggestions anyone? I could put a chest next to it with a quicksort module, but will it play well in the request? I'm not sure if it expects the chipset at the crafting pipe... Or that it will rout the chipset to the next recipe... I mean, I could even put an obsidian pipe there but does it work... Edit: Test 2. Changed crftng log pipe to side. no luck.

Uhhmmm... Yeah thanks, but I am really looking for the autocraft approach so I can use them in my log pipe setup... I guess one could use the assembly table because it starts crafting as soon as the right resources are present, but I'm unsure if it works in the logistics setup.

Hi guys, I was wondering how to autocraft chipsets. I read there is a thing called the Advanced Crafting Table in Buildcraft, but also I read they hold the 'middle between an automatic crafting table and a workbench'. Is this middle firm enough to be able to put a crafting logistics pipe on it and expect chipsets to come out like sandwiches? Or is it 'heavily bugged and dysfunctional' as many people seem to think?

I'm actually saddened. How does getting 'triple post' and sorry ass shit like that even relate to technic? It's just so lame. You get this one thread where you can do what you like and you post 'fartz' and 'postapocalypse'? What the fuck are you, 12?

This thread needs a lot less 4chan. :(

Hey I built a mod. It is my first mod and I'm very proud of it. It is awesome and I have no screenshot at all but you will have to take my word for it. It doesn't work if your antivirus is on so just download this awesome mod without any firewalls and stuff on. It needs to open a few dll files on your system to install but don't be alarmed its just because it's so awesome. Download it now from http://adlink.warez.trojan.infect.nu and try it!

Using Pneumatic Tubes.. without timers? (Possible?)
xtrasyn replied to Vaygrim's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
If its not the timers then it must be retrievers or the filter animation. Heck it could even be the sounds. Didn't ic2 suffer from that as well? -

Does anyone actually have server version 0.6? I tasked myself with running the client v0.6 to see what mods were in it but I failed, because I'm rather lazy. :/ -

Yeah I keep downloading new versions as soon as I can as they all fix something that was broken in the previous one... :/ Still no working link to this. I need a fix for the redstone energy conduit pronto. Could the filename be slightly different? -

I must admit I just throw away most of it and ftp the new files in... I'm not aware of any other method, in all honesty. -

Using Pneumatic Tubes.. without timers? (Possible?)
xtrasyn replied to Vaygrim's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
Do you have a lot of items in transit? I once had this plan to build a massive cube and put all transport tubes in the walls of it. Anyway, bottom line, the lines were stupidly long and the time between a request and its fullfilment was insane. So I started to approach it differently and make all transport very generic and simple. The moment anything has to send back an item all the way to its origin because the destination is a fail and machines start up storing stuff and timers keep pounding it... I don't know. I always took that to be the reason for a lot of lag. As soon as i started to use failproof systems (chest, or restriction pipe, anyway, out of the system where it has to be 'tracked' and in to the 'chest statistics' as soon as possible if you catch my drift) and well closed loops with really short lines (aiming for nigh direct request fullfilments) it all worked a lot better. So your problem could be design based. :/ Funnily it's an argument for people defending buildcraft pipes. They both have their advantages. For items in transit and requests buildcraft kinda owns redpower, lagwise. Ah, what the hell. They both rock. :) -
Using Pneumatic Tubes.. without timers? (Possible?)
xtrasyn replied to Vaygrim's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
The real problem I suspect (because I recognize this problem) is probably that eloraam made every timer a separate entity. If she would code a series of running clocks corresponding with the timer settings that every timer would 'tap in' to it would mean every timer that runs on a setting of 2s is actually just one process. Not that I know anything about stuff like this but using timers in great numbers really hogs so I was just thinking out loud really. :/ -
The only thing that worries me is that because of this thread the admins might find out I'm actually responsible for 90% of those posts using proxies and fake accounts whilst having a really, really good time. Owait...

Hello I lost my password for minecraft so I can't login but can one of you help me with this? I am a really really legit owner but yeah I can't remember the password. The account I used for sign ups was lost due to a small problem with my Xbox live account that was closed down for illegal activities which totally wasn't true. But those people all lied. Anyway since I already am a legit user can someone please help me logging on to a server that will not ask for a password. I mean I am not too cheap to spend money on an indie game but haha buying it once is more than enough right. So yeah who can help this 100% legal user? Ps really not trying to cheat and use a hacked account so if giving me your username and password is the only option then so be it etc. promise I won't destroy anything you built I just want to look. Really. You can trust me. Pps also can I interest you in some ugg boots that I really like did not steal from a store. You will have to call my friend because I can't currently post the goods as I have this small problem here with the police because the last package I posted was swapped for one with dope in it so until the judge rules me not guilty I can't really go to the post office. Thanks in advance! 50dollaBJob

Oh yes ofcourse. The redpower relay. Sorry, that was the best option.
