I've always played on servers that usually have most (if not all) of EE disabled. The only use I see for condensers (besides an easy diamond maker for EE's equipment and the occasional redpower computer) is as a trash compactor of dirt into stones. It's the collectors you have to disable. Their only use is for klin stars which I find even more useless than just carrying around glowstone dust. I say to each their own, but covalance dust and repair talismans are always nice to have. I've always wondered if someone had the idea to make a mod that does similar things; repairs items using dusts, stuff like that. Course once we update to 1.4 though, the anvil will fix that :D

Ok, so watching Dan's new video on Thaumcraft 3 I thought I'd be the one to ask the big question; is Thaumcraft going to be on the table at any point as a possible Tekkit mod? Since it now offers multiplayer and a seemingly easy GUI based system that is multiplayer friendly it should be fairly easy now to play. Dan also made mention that "crucibles can be connected to buildcraft pipes" and that it was also "rebuilt from the ground up." That's always fun. Any input on this?

I've always found RPG games to be some of the best. Games like Neverwinternights2, fallout series (in a lot of ways), KOTOR, and Diablo just to name a few.

it seems like a great idea but it also seems like someone wanted to mix starcraft with Protocol if you ask me personally. It's just very odd in appearance and even with it being beta and open source, it just seems...IDK how to put it but if it would go into true development and get things working on it, I could see it.

Neverwinter nights 2 gets my vote. It's based on the old 3.5 dnd system, so was NWN1. It's a great game with a wonderful storyline and great world builder abilities to make your own scenarios. Great quality to be expected from Obsidian Entertainment, maker of New Vegas.

I'm fully behind this Greenwolf, cant be worse than Thaumcraft. I'm not saying that THaum is not a good mod, I like ANYTHING that lets me take dirt and make it into something worth while. It's just so god damn expensive. This...it just seems like it'll be something fun to play.

ah, gotcha. that's something I'm sure I'll run into once I start trying my hand at a computer type mod. ;3

I took a computer programing class and still don't understand what the classes are really, but I do get the basic idea of how easily they can screw shit up.

not only that, but what can it offer besides what to me looks like obvious gimp armor? wolf blocks? I'm sure the ID codes would conflict with something.

I see applications with BTW that may be of some use, like climbable ropes and elevators, but the later can be done with redpower if you know what your doing. Also your right Andrew, it's the mod that is MADE to be incompatible with everything.
