[SOLVED] Issue with Technic Launcher: Load Library failed with Error 126
Jay? replied to Vextor's question in Technic Launcher
Re: Issue with Technic Launcher: Load Library failed with Error 126 No worries. If compatability mode isn't functional yet, i suppose your best option is to dual boot win7 and win8, and have 7 handle your technic stuff. -
When are you folks going to learn that ALL the browsers have functions. Opera is fast and has gestures, Chrome is fast and has google built right the fuck into it, Firefox has the best addons, and Explorer provides a standard browser for large businesses that want to know that their internal systems will get along with each other across departments.

[SOLVED] Issue with Technic Launcher: Load Library failed with Error 126
Jay? replied to Vextor's question in Technic Launcher
Re: Issue with Technic Launcher: Load Library failed with Error 126 I'm going to go ahead and say that that's probably something about windows 8. This is the first time i've seen that error, and the first time i've seen a technician using windows 8 preview. By any chance is there an oiption to run things in Win7compatability mode? -
I believe he still distributes his mods in the form of .ips patches. You'll need a working North American ROM of the original game involved. I'll leave that up to you. Lunar IPS is a good program for applying the patches. If that doesn't work, his pages usually have more detailed instructions on them

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826127204#top This is what i was talking about. It looks discontinued, but they're durable as all hell, (i've had mine for five years, and it's still my go to when emulating) and was apparently popular enough that goodwill often has them in stock. You'll need a working DS emulator for Volt White, but it has every. single. pokemon. ever.

So, i visited canada last year, and witnessed an older couple at a some kind of concession stand, trying to convince the shoptender to sell them a display product using the phrase "You don't understand, we have real money", waving around american dollars. I'm not saying that other countries don't do stupid nationalistic crap, but americans can be particularly special.

Logitech makes an incredibly cheap dualanalog controller that i'm satisfied with. It's literally like 10 bucks.
-
Have you checked out firere:Omega, or Volt White, by drayano? They're pretty much the best pokemon experience for the PC, except possibly that online pokemon world thing that i STILL haven't managed to sign up for.

Dudewhat? Don't advertise your youtube channel here. that's douchetastic.

Depends on what i'm playing. If im playing single player, I use millenaire dried bricks, then I eventually graduate to a Dark Matter house. In Tekkit, I'm a reinforced stone guy. Partially because i can;t stand playing in servers without raiding. (because seriously, without raids what's the point of half of the defensive measures you can take?) But i always decorate with a combo of basalt and marble covers.

Borderlands and Dragon Age: Origins both added steam cloud functionality post-release. Imagine my surprise when i got my new computer, and kept my lvl 72 siren. 8D

I think that eventually Eloraam wants to have redpower just do goddamn everything. In fact, with frames on the horizon, I can see how an autofarmer would work.
-
I'm not sure what gave you that impression. The technic devs will add in whatever feels right, whether it's magic, technology, or something else.
-
Also, saving things to Steam Cloud. Oh god yes.
-
Not really. It's a statement intended to express my loathing of the phrase "I've tried everything" Which is almost never true.
-
1) i have no clue what you are talking about. 2) unlikely. Entity lag is a result of the lag from data traveling over the internet. If the game is taking data from localhost, there shouldn't be any lag. 3)not unless it's coded by a five year old. 4)i disagree. I think it's exciting, since mods will most likely be both single and multiplayer by default with that setup.

Ugh... ATI cards... Also, I don't dislike alienware for their prices, they do some stupid shit sometimes. I took apart a machine a friend was having issues with, and they had a superfluous metal plate blocking and airflow fan.

Try posting a bug report when you get back from your 3 day vacation.

Probably by reading the stickies.

You do realize that if OP tried searching, he did it wrong, because the answer is in the first three topics, nobody cares about people who are too lazy to register in order to search for their problem, and searching is not rocket science. We are not in the business of coddling people here, you either do it yourself, or don't expect it to get done. Also, i almost missed this one: Have you tried tying soda cans to your ankles and wandering down the road yelling "I AM THE EMPEROR OF ICELAND."?
-
Last possibility before i have to give up: Completely delete your .techniclauncher folder. It's in /appdata

Yog is adventure/gameplay centered, while technic is building/system centered. Play yogbox if you want to level up and have skills and collect hearts, play technic if you want to build factories and periodically shout "SCIENCE!"

I was wrong, apparently somebody still has Big Important Things they need to get off their chest. So here's their PM, folks: This is my gift to the community, I will no longer participate in this thread, it now belongs to All of YOU
-
because minecraft is largely geared towards younger kids now, and they need all the advantages they can get. Also, zombies and skellies aren't all that's in the pack. Fucking werewolves and ogres and pirates. What part of "the responsibility of the people who are playing" didn't you get? Clearly the technic team is comfortable with how the pack is working. If YOU have a problem with it, it's YOUR responsibility to find things to fix your problems with it. If YOU would like to be constructive, why don't YOU find the things your looking for and post them? And that's it for this thread.
