Nah, the overlay always worked, but it only could be used on steam games, tat you purchased through steam. Having it on minecraft would be super useful, particularly for thaumcraft recipes.

I'm pretty sure that won't enable the overlay, that'll just tell everyone that you're playing minecraft. A neat trick that you can do twith that is make a simple .bat file, and name it something like "StarCraft 3 Beta" and add it as a 3rd party game. Then occasionaly run it and watch people harass you about how you got it.

Last time a dev addressed this, the answer was "not until they fix some coding thing that jay? doesn't understand" I paraphrase of course. but something in flans is borked, and until it's fixed, it isn't even worth the speculation.

The launcher doesn't get along with 32 bit java right now. Try using the .Jar instead of the EXE.
