Thanks Sacrieur xD I might do just that, but I won't have to worry about it for a year because of parents... I ask to spend my money on a $600-700 desktop, and get a no. I ask to spend my money on a $300 phone, which I would pay $45/month on for the bill, and I get a yes? Wtf? 300 + 12(45) > $700 And then of course I am told that I don't know anything about financial stuff and to wait and see how real life is once I have to pay the bills Ill probably just not buy anything and save my money this christmas ;)

BRING BACK CRAFTING TABLE III INTO TEKKIT!!!!!!!!!!
ampayne2 replied to Sean O'Connell's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
I think that would depend on how he acts from here on out... :I -
Not sure why you posted this in the mod makers market... You need to make sure the server and your client are using the same version. You can change your client version with the options button to make it match.

Do you have http pxr qf enabled? Wow If not, open up your computer case and disconnect everything you see and then reconnect it. Then try the link again.

I see at least 8 ducks, technically speaking Try to get those cleaned out, and it will work. If you need help with that, go to: Http://www.killmyducks.com

Request for help to setup plugins
ampayne2 replied to ghostconnell1975's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
To be honest, if others setup your plugins for you, you won't know how they work. Great server owners should know their server inside out so that they can solve bugs as soon as they happen and know exactly what is wrong and how to fix it. If you don't, you will not know how to solve any new bugs you come across, and the server will die. If you have any specific errors or issues, I can explain/help you with them if you describe them But I won't just setup your server :P -
First close out of all open server consoles, kill all the java processes in your task manager (if you are on windows), then try to delete it again :)

... Right click... and hit delete...

Type stop in the console. ;)

Need help with frame elevator!
ampayne2 replied to ebbeliebebbelie's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
UPDATE: I rewired everything and simplified everything, every input fits into one bundled cable now, for up to 8 floors. Max of 16 floors with the design also (unless you remove the call elevator buttons, and 9+ floors takes more than one bundled cable). It will only take me a minute to reprogram it when I have time. Can you explain how your elevator is setup though? For example: Do you have just an up button and a down button? Are they inside or outside the elevator? Do you have call elevator buttons? Is your elevator moved up and down by means of an inchworm motor, or a big shaft/pole thing? -
Set copper cables to glass fiber cables with WorldEdit?

No, the art of trolling is a revered skill that takes time and reading (Key word: reading) to learn. -
Set copper cables to glass fiber cables with WorldEdit?
ampayne2 replied to Backplague's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Did you read this at all? OP: Im not sure of a fix for this; most of the stuff from IC2 never works right with plugins that change stuff (worldedit, logblock, etc) -
Obviously not, or it wouldn't be there. Make sure you deleted it all the way (don't ask me how )
-
Well, to put this as nicely and simply as possible, you need the mod so that your client knows what to do with stuff (blocks that it says are there, etc.) EDIT: ninjas :P

Need help with frame elevator!
ampayne2 replied to ebbeliebebbelie's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Wow, I have a 6 floor elevator that is configurable where you just enter in the height of each floor, and it works. Let me get the topic I made here, one sec (I'll edit it in). It uses computercraft, works with floor up/down buttons and call elevator buttons, it also needs a floor sensor to tell it which floor it is on. Everything is explained here: EDIT: Right here p.s., just read the whole thing, but use the latest source code (in my 2nd to last post) EDIT 2: Just had a few ideas to majorly simplify this (and possibly make the code a tad faster) To make sure it would work for your design, could you post a few screens and describe the elevator and its inputs? (buttons) I will get the new code to you ASAP. The idea is to make the up elevator button hooked to just one color wire, and the down elevator button hooked to just one color wire, instead of 5 colors for up and 5 for down. The reason I had it like that to begin with is I attempted doing it without a floor sensor, which was basically impossible (Various things would easily mess it up without a sensor) I also have another more complicated idea which makes it even more reliable. EDIT 3: This will definitely work, and it makes it so much simpler. Also, you only need one bundled cable instead of 3! Since there are 16 colors of wire, It will take 2 for up/down buttons, 6 for the call elevator buttons, 6 for the floor sensors, and 2 for the wires that power the motors. 2+6+6+2=16, so it fits in one bundled cable! I am reprogramming it now. -
When I started my server, I used PEX and its chatmanager to begin with, and it worked fine. But (for me atleast) it never would display the faction prefix. When I changed to EssentialsChat, it showed the faction prefix. So if you aren't running factions, then it doesnt matter.
-
If you use the chatmanager that comes with PEX, convert to EssentialsChat (fixed the issue for me a long time ago when I was setting up my server). You also have to put [FACTION] somewhere in the chat/prefix format.

Teleport pipes are notoriously buggy. Are you flying when you try to access the teleport pipe's GUI?

Please avoid double posting TrueTRG^ Also, taco salad! ;)

Does 0.97 fix this? Didnt know that but great!

Also, try allocating less. It sounds counter productive, but it really works.

No, all your bukkit plugins won't work. The server will though.
