well, more likely it's a problem with some mod and how it interacts with your system. in that sense it's a hardware problem, but it doesn't mean your hardware is faulty or dying. sorry the IC2 sound thing did not fix it. I'm totally out of ideas now unfortunately.

it's not exactly a lot of effort on my part, don't worry about that. in the future, the best way to get an answer is to first search for similar problems and try the solutions offered. if that doesn't work, make your own thread in the appropriate section. posting in other threads that aren't related to your problem or are super old isn't the way to get help, it's the way to get kellered, which you did.

umm if you throw up a server you can lan it all you want. if you're talking about the integrated lan features in MC 1.3, then the answer is that they will be present once tekkit updates to 1.3 or above, since those are base functions of the game. do not ask when that's happening because no one knows.

hold the phone! this may be the IC2 sound bug if that's the case. have you tried disabling IC2 sounds? if not, you should. here's how you do it: in your %appdata%\.techniclauncher\tekkit\config folder you will find a file named IC2.cfg open that file with a text editor (it's large) and look for "soundsEnabled=true" then change the "true" to "false" save the file try to get the lag

you can also use filters to pull items out of the turtles by having the turtle move next to the filter and emit a redstone signal to activate the filter.

IE is pretty much retarded and likes to do its own thing when it comes to mime types. often ignoring the declared type in favor of whatever type it thinks it's supposed to be. IE is known for this. there may be a server side solution that tells IE to go jump off a cliff, but I don't know it off the top of my head.
