  1. Hmm, I wish I could download more RAM, that would be amazing... Too bad you need open memory slots and you need to buy it -.-
  2. Water mills only produce 0.2 or something like that eu/t when in water, if you put a water bucket in them, it produces 2 eu/t. Solar panels need to be exposed to sun (you probably know this, but...), and I have no clue about wind mill :/
  3. Being new does not excuse not reading the title of a sticky. Look at this from your error log: Now look at this sticky title: Really?
  4. Click "Modify" Also, why post if you "know it's the wrong place to post"?
  5. Not exactly sure how to fix this, but could you try having someone keep a damaged tool (pick, etc.) in their inventory and see if it wipes that to no damage or does anything weird to it? Also, please look at this... http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,2797.0.html
  6. If you test it (If you haven't modified tekkit.jar), you will see that others actually CAN *Build* in protected areas, but NOT *destroy*.
  7. Man! WTF is with this thing?! Lol, this must be extremely frustrating for you :(
  8. Haha yeah. I prefer gimp too, just a bit more complex than what he needed ;)
  9. What sort of alternate optimizations?
  10. Here's how... 1. Get an image editor other than MS Paint, such as Paint .NET (google "paint .net") 2. Open up the Advanced Machines and Industrial Craft .zips 3. Look through both and see if you can find ic2/sprites/block_advmachine.png 4. open it with editor you downloaded earlier, and use the eraser to erase everything. Then use the paint bucket to fill it with white, black, or gray (all one color) 5. save 6. select all the files INSIDE THE FOLDERS that were created when you unziped the mod .zip/s (all the files inside one, do step 7, then the same with the files inside the other folder) 7. right click on the selected files and choose "send to > compressed (zipped) folder" 8. Rename the .zip it creates to the exact name as the original .zips of the mods 9. Back up the original .zips 10. place new .zips into mods folder done Good luck :)
  11. Thanks for the info. Would it work if you generate the world with the regular tekkit jar then run normally with CB++? Ill try it and see...
  12. I totally agree... not sure if you could do that however.
  13. ... Look at the sticky about "BlockPlaceEvent" Fix
  14. Haha. I don't like that in C++ and others.
  15. Exactly my problem :P
  16. Yeah, I sent him there earlier. Don't think it helped :/
  17. Thought I'd add a bit on the mac version... Port Forwarding on a Mac: You're in luck because this is extremely simple. Head over to: http://www.codingmonkeys.de/portmap/ and download "For users" version. When it downloads, place it wherever you want and open it up. Click the little + and enter your info as follows: Local Port: The port you put in server.properties Desired Port: Again, the port you put in server.properties TCP is fine Description: Add a little description if you're using multiple Example String: You can leave this blank And you're done! How sweet is that?
  18. Do you have a skype? I have an idea but it might not be completely ok for me to say it on here :P
  19. I have an idea... I'm sorry if this is dumb, but after searching around for 10 minutes, the MD5 mismatch error is often caused by an antivirus program... specifically AVG. If you have an Antivirus (which since you said you just reformatted you might not), try disabling it.
  20. This is a known problem with industrialcraft, the sound code in IC2 is shit. Just mute your sound :/ Sorry.
  21. Huh... one last suggestion. Download the newest LWJGL, for instructions on that, see the minecraft wiki, just search LWJGL.
  22. Hmm, try using the dev build if you haven't already... didn't see you had in your OP but I might just be being stupid..
