that generally means you have no path set for java, and you should also make sure you dont have an install of an older version hanging around somewhere that tekkit is trying to use
-
it looks as if wireless redstone is causing the error that prevents the server from loading try removing the mod and starting up the server to know for sure
-
have the server admin backup your player data file and then delete it and see if it fixes the problem, if it does then it is something with the area you were at or something you had, or your player data could have become corupt

Server doesn't launch and gives me some sort of getconsolemode error
Magister replied to Bone's question in Tekkit Classic
add -nojline to the end of your startup script and try again -
OP try reducing the amount of memory you are allocating to tekkit and make sure your video drivers are up to date @ foxysoul OS: Mac OS X (x86_64) version 10.6.8 Java: 1.6.0_33, Apple Inc. you need to update java java 1.7 for mac require osx 10.7.0 or later
-
the error of a corupted mod is generally nether ore this happens when you do not have java 1.7 reason being that nether ore was compiled using java 1.7 previous versions of java (pre 1.7) will show it as being corrupt now are you use your java is up to date? to check java type cmd in the run bar in the start menu type java -version in the black box, press enter look at version number
-
are you using top to view usage? and if it happened that night then it must be something that someone build or did in the server. you can try loading a new fresh generated world to see if it remains high, if the cpu usage goes back to what you expect then it is something with your world

Null Pointer Exception when giving item 166
Magister replied to AaronMcH's question in Tekkit Classic
vanillia items still have ids and WILL NOT be in any config file http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Data_values you may want to check them all over again, and keep in mind that EE does have a config file that is not in the config folder but in the root server folder if you do not want to manual read every file there is a shorter way open command prompt navigate to the directory for the config files enter (find "NUMBER" *.*) in the prompt and press enter, it will search all the configs for the item id, replace NUMBER with the number you are looking for, the " " around the number is required -
first thing, make sure you are up to date on java, if you still get errors start over on a fresh server and see what errors it gives if any

Null Pointer Exception when giving item 166
Magister replied to AaronMcH's question in Tekkit Classic
you have multiple items with the same id manual change the ids in the config files -
it has to be something that was changed or updated close to the time this problem started something you can try is restoring windows from a system restore point if you have one in that time period also try completly removing tekkit and redownloading as well, delete the .techniclauncher folder in your %appdata%

try adding -nojline at the end of the start script
-
first thing to try is updating your java
-
it appears it is nether ores, make sure your java is up to date and if the problem continues try removing the mod and starting the server
-
there are alot of things that can cause a server or a client to not to be able to connenct, without logs there is no way of knowing what is the problem or how to fix it, and since OP didnt post logs how do you know it is doing the same thing since many things can cause this "problem"

Java VM: '1.6.0_18-b07' from your error log, may want to make sure you are up to date
-
post server log and client log if you have any hope of help, a picture showing the same thing you posted isnt helpful in the least
-
i have seen that same error from an id conflict where one of the items is in the players inventory
-
looks like the error is coming from compact solars, try removing it and running to see if you still crash, if you do then more of the log might be helpful
-
update your java or remove nether ores, this questions gets asked over and over, always the same way to fix
-
network sharing center > change adapter settings > right click your adapter > select properties > uncheck TCP\IPv6 then launch and try joining
-
after doing some searching on those errors it appears the most likley cause is an issue with IPv6 and java7 prefer to bind to it over IPv4 try disabling IPv6 for your network adapter and make sure its drivers are up to date
-
sometimes when you have plugins and mods all working together you just get errors, sometimes the break the system sometimes they work as intended but just dont want to play well together and complain unless it does not work or is causing weird interactions dont worry about it for now if you start to see issues then you should look into it in more detail

My game crashes after about 30 minutes of gameplay
Magister replied to Hotelmariofan's question in Tekkit Classic
post the log from tekkit itself, it might help more than this one C:/Users/Nic/AppData/Roaming/ should be in .techniclauncher at the above location
