  1. Getting a better computer and posting in the right section might help. This is for issues with the platform/modpacks, not general lag.
  2. 1. Voltz is 1.4.7, not 1.5.1 so total incompatability 2. Good luck getting there with mod version incompatability 3. Good luck doing that in any way. A real way to do this would be to download tekkit main and use it as a base where you would add updated mods from Voltz andmake it into a pack.
  3. That would be why. A lot of .jar mods are strange with 1.5.X. For instance, to use Optifine you have to use a specific old version and no other will work. .jar mods are very strange 1.5.X+ and I don't have much experiance with the update.
  4. Just unselect force directory change in your modpack and you don't need to make a new folder. It will save right in .technic by itself.
  5. What version is your modpack? is it 1.5.X?
  6. Have you tried increasing your permagen size? Just click the little gear in the launcher and select it.
  7. Oh I see, very simple. If this is your pack you have the force directory change selected. This forces you to put the pack somewhere not technic. This is for mod packs where the author of one of the mods likes to shit on the technic community by putting malicious code to do evil things when associated with the .technic folder. When a directory change is being forced and one of those types of mods are in it and you have change the folder so the malicious code wont do anything. If this is your pack and you don't have any mods like that (Cough Gregtech)then just make sure that the force directory change is not selected in the edit modpack menu.
  8. Your too nice Munaus, I would have just reported it. As for his problem, your image links seem to be broken so I have no idea what your trying to say. If your asking what to put where it asks for the modpack location you put the link to where ever you hosted your pack.
  9. If your running on a 32 bit computer 1 gig is all your going to get out of it. If you have a 64 bit system I believe you can go up to 4 gigs. No way around it that I know of.
  10. Please give me more information than that. Saying the dark wizard of Gandalf cast a bad spell doesn't help with diagnosing your problem. For all I know your computer is just infested with ducks and you need to call the good wizard of duck extermination. I just don't know without more info.
  11. Oh wow, I was using the wrong account.
  12. Its not there for some reason...
  13. Tried that, bought on steam, could probably find some.
  14. I did buy it and play it before I reset my computer
  15. So logged on to steam today to install KSP on my newly reformatted computer and find that it's not in my game library any more. Little buggered by that...
  16. I thought that was a KJ excursive! D:
  17. Let me be a lesson no one is infallible

  18. Its dead. OP is gone, shamed out of the forums. He hasten even been on since his last post. Oh well! Shows over folks! Thanks for coming out!
  19. Doing what I do best, Being Canadian! Edit: Oops, I thought this was about what we were doing, as for little dig, it sounds, interesting....
  20. At least he avoided all the French chefs. ;)
  21. Bit late to the show there...
  22. Oh the fun was just starting though! Ah well, I got a little laugh.
  23. He is now ignoring the points in all the posts to such a degree that it has passed the line into entertainment for me. This food is now too thick to play with anyways.
  24. For what purpose? Make the modpack maker have three day job to get into contact with EVERY modder and bow to their wishes? Why make people do that when it's 100% fine to do it without even listing the mods in the pack? It can be a two hour job to get just the links if you have a sizable modpack. By doing that you would be crippling the custom pack community. Look at FTB, they have the permission mandate inplace and they have a fraction the good packs we do because it discourages the community. As a modpack maker myself, I say no.
