  1. I tested it in game. Copper ore was producing copper dust with an occasional bit of gold dust. It's just not happening frequently because the percentage is low.
  2. I would think that if they're able to be changed via the lexicon, that they would also produce the same results as TE ores in the pulverizer. If the pulverizer recipes were not made using ore dictionary entries, the items would simply not pulverize. I'll mess around with things and see if the ores are giving byproduct when they pulverize. The default copper ore is producing gold occasionally in addition to copper when being pulverized. There is just a low chance of it happening.
  3. Yau reolize thot everything wauld be reolly onnaying ta reod ond ore driven mod. I wish I cauld understond oll farms af cammunicotian.
  4. Your finger heals quickly, but then is severed in an accident. I wish I would always have the exact amount of money I need.
  5. I've actually taken a look at his code and it's taught me quite a few things. I have a private modpack that I use and I coded a little something that adds minium stone recipes to the redpower ores for convenience.
  6. Not only is it a rule, but he's been warned a couple times for it. I'm curious to see how this goes.
  7. They come back to life, but they're all pissed off and grumpy as if being woken from a deep sleep. I wish for true happiness.
  8. Dude, you should totally post more clapping gifs. Everyone will love it!
  9. Pahimar has said that he's stopped work on EE2 in order to work on EE3 (and his Let's Mod series on YouTube). If I'm not mistaken he will not be making the code for EE2 available for anyone else to update. The Equivalent Exchange thread on the Minecraft Forum has more information if you want to check it out.
  10. Glad to see you've found something that works. Would be great if you were able to find out why quarries are causing you to crash, but I guess being able to play again is sufficient for now.
  11. Try turning off your quarry and then going through a portal. Changing dimensions always causes a server-side check. If no crash, it is related to the buildcraft quarry and not server-side checks. I can't say what would need to be done next, but it would help at least.
  12. Looking through the pastebin, it does seem that wireless redstone has something to do with the issue you're having. I cannot confirm that changing the item IDs to zero will have the desired effect, or that it will not cause some sort of issue. However, you can simply remove wireless redstone from your mods folder. This would remove all of the items from said mod and hopefully fix your error. It will have no effect on users trying to connect, as they would still have the required mods. Having said this, I strongly urge you to create backups frequently, especially before making changes that could have a major impact. This can simply be done by placing a copy of your server folder in a safe place.
  13. There are scenarios in which that would not be ideal, however. For example, block breakers could be used to bypass protected areas. Some server owners use plugins to determine areas where such things are allowed instead of simply opping the fake players.
  14. Glad to be of service. Just make sure the version of the plugin matches your version of bukkit.
  15. Would this help you? http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/timelock/
  16. The fake player for Redpower may need to be opped in order to move blocks. If you're the server administrator do /op [redpower] (leave out the / if doing from the console). If not, ask the administrator nicely and say "pretty please"
  17. Yeah, just take the servers file from your Tekkit folder (as well as anything else you're not willing to lose) and delete the rest
  18. Well, Technic is single player only so you may want to go with Tekkit.
  19. I wouldn't say it's unreliable, just a bit cluttered. We don't have a way to do away with all of the duplicate questions and irrelevant answers at the moment. I'm not here to complain about that though, just to say that if seeking help the questions site should not be overlooked. If a valid question is asked though, chances are one of us will answer it.
  20. I'm not sure how that really answers the question, but thank you for sharing your opinion on the matter. We value your input.
  21. Another thing to consider is rules of engagement. People will definitely raise major complaints about being killed or raided. Unless you're going for a chaotic type of server. Those tend to be rather easy to maintain since everything is allowed
  22. It's not that it has no better options, just no better options without needing a bit of power. A couple solar panels will power several sorting machines easily. I don't equate it with overflow, there are just a lot of people who do not understand buildcraft enough to design an effective system. I simply prefer RP since I don't have to think about whether it will overflow. I just have to supply a red pulse to the filter or transposer and let it handle everything else. I also dislike waiting for the buildcraft engines to heat up
