I had an awesome idea. I figured that since there are so many different weapons in the tekkit mod pack, then how about I get a whole group of people together to create a Hunger Games Tekkit map!

We could add things like

  • Different swords

    • Ruby
    • Emerald
    • Sapphire
    • Dark Matter
    • Red Matter
    • Nano Saber

    [*]Different Rings

    • Swiftwolf's Rending Gale
    • Archangel's Smite
    • Void Ring
    • Zero Ring
    • Body Stone

    [*]Different Armor

    • Dark Matter
    • Red Matter
    • Gem Armor
    • Nano Suit
    • Quantum
    • Bronze

    [*]Items like

    • Harvest Goddess Band
    • Alchemy Bags
    • Energy Condensers

I just thought of this idea please tell me what you think about it, suggestions etc.

I suppose, but You could probably put the nano saber and armor on opposite ends of the map probably in a lava jumping course so that this way, One person could have the saber, and the other have the armor...

Optional: If you have MCEdit, you could load the generated map and then press CTRL-A to sellect all chunks and then you could choose the repop function. When you load the map in Tekkit, it will generate Tekkit ores and stuff in the map.

Thanks for that Iscamania, however I don't want ores in the map, I simply would like loot items in the chests...

That wouldn't work. Nanosabers wont kill quantum armor, and even if you separate the nano armor and saber, the person in nano would just have to go kill the person with that nano saber in order to be invincible. If you really intend to include the IC2 armors in this, you'll need to make sure you put a very small, finite amount of energy into the pieces.

I would like player made maps however...

The ores were optional, like I wrote. And for player made maps, that's also possible ofcourse. This forum at minecraftforums is filled with maps: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum/53-maps/

I'm almost sure you could also find hunger games maps on one of the 1891 pages with threads.

I am in the process of modding my IC2 to allow the nano saber to hurt a player wearing quantum - but not as much as a player who is wearing other armor.

Probably the best use of Tekkit in a Hunger Games map, is to incorporate things like electricity, computers and RedPower frames into the map design.

No offence, but I highly doubt you could pull it off with a random bunch of people.
