dsheric Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Is there somewhere I can go to find detailed information about hosting a pack on the Technic platform? Everytime I upload the file and link it to the pack, it downloads all the mods, but it launches as vanilla.
Moderators Munaus Posted February 11, 2015 Moderators Posted February 11, 2015 first, read this thread thoroughly If you still didn't get it, post your modpack download link here so others can test it The_Doctors_Life 1

My real pack is about 300 mb, and I don't want to go nuts with my slow internet connection, re-uploading each time, so I just have 3 mods included here. Edited February 11, 2015 by dsheric
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 11, 2015 Discord Moderator Posted February 11, 2015 Your /bin/modpack.jar file is actually named "modpack.jar.jar". This is likely not obvious to you because you aren't always displaying file extensions. Google for "windows explorer always show file extensions".

Not sure what's going wrong here. I'm in the IRC channel though. Edit, finally got it working. I was using the wrong forge type, apparently. Edited February 11, 2015 by dsheric
