Hosting a modpack

Is there somewhere I can go to find detailed information about hosting a pack on the Technic platform? Everytime I upload the file and link it to the pack, it downloads all the mods, but it launches as vanilla.

I uploaded a test with the forge universal renamed to modpack.jar and it still launched vanilla, not sure what I did wrong

 

Just a small edit, this is just a test. My real pack is about 300 mb, and I don't want to go nuts with my slow internet connection, re-uploading each time, so I just have 3 mods included here.

• Your /bin/modpack.jar file is actually named "modpack.jar.jar". This is likely not obvious to you because you aren't always displaying file extensions. Google for "windows explorer always show file extensions".

Changed it and it still instals as vanilla. Not sure what's going wrong here. I'm in the IRC channel though.

 

Edit, finally got it working. I was using the wrong forge type, apparently.
