(Sorry if its in the wrong forum thread its hard to find out which one it is)

Hi

I want to create an modpack for my and my friends yotube channel.

But when downloading it gives me this error:

Error unzipping the following pack: De Ultimate Modpack!

Error in opening zip file

Im using Copy with the Public link.

I have called my Zip file what it should me (De-Ultimate-Modpack-1.0)

Inside the file i have 4 files:

bin config mods resourcepacks

In the bin i have forge 1.7.10 renamed to modpack

Config is empty

in the mods are the mods and they are all 1.7.10

rescourcepacks is empty

The mods are:

DamageIndicators

Lucky Blocks

Zelda Sword Skills

Blocklings

Buildcraft

Anyone know how to fix this?

  • Copy.com public share URLs must have "?download=1" (without quotes) appended to them in order to function properly as modpack download locations.
  • You have the wrong file as your modpack.jar. The modpack.jar file is the correct version of the Forge universal binary JAR file renamed to modpack.jar.

You would append the string ?download=1 to the end of your public share URL from copy.com.

Still get the same error

Pastebin your logs and provide a link here on the Technic site to your mod pack for reference.

Consider renaming the files in your modpacks folder. Linux admins hate special characters and spaces as Linux has to do work arounds on them.

Put the FORGE version in the right folder named modpack.jar NOT the installer file.

Lets start with the hammering of your doing one site for an icon

Caused by: net.technicpack.launchercore.exception.DownloadException: The server issued a 504 response code.

Hundreds of attempts..

You are also missing a lot of files, users, installed packs,  Seems like your technic launcher is a huge problem. Fix the launcher, possibly a ccomplete reinstall with no changes to it

AND as I stated in my last post. Put FORGE not the installer into your mod pack.

Fix those and then ask for help again. You still have the installer  in your mod pack.

Try renaming de-ultimate-modpack.zip to modpack.zip

Also Current modpack.jar you have in there isnt the universal. it is the installer.

I will try fixing these bugs and sending you the modpack.zip

ok I have fixed it. MODPACK.ZIP

I added you as a contributer to the modpack i tested it on. if you need to test it again just let me know and use that link

Mod Edit: It's also amusing when a moderator just comes along and randomly merges 5 posts for fun.
