So, I just made myself my first modpack (PutPack). Everything seemed to go well, until i tried to download and play my modpack from the technic Launcher. It loads the assets and evrything, but it doesn't launch the game. It just closes and takes me back to the Tachnic Launcher. I also have a gut feeling that there is something else wrong so i would like to have someone else look at my mods because there are a lot of them. There will definitly be a problem withe the mods .

  • bspkrsCore belongs in /mods/1.7.10/
  • You have AM2 for an older version of Forge/MC. 1.4.0.008 is the current 1.7.10 version.
  • You should be using the latest version of the AE2rv2 Beta.
  • You only have one of the three mods that make up Galacticraft. You need GalacticraftCore, GalacticraftPlanets and MicdoodleCore.
  • You should remove any "(1)" strings from your file names (or parenthesis with any other numerical digits in them). They can cause issues with some mods.
  • You have the LiteLoader installer in your /mods/ folder. The actual LiteLoader mod JAR (not the installer) belongs in the /mods/1.7.10/ folder.
  • Your TeamCoFH mods don't match. Get the latest version of all your chosen TeamCoFH mods from their website.
  • Your Not Enough Items mod is from an illegitimate source. Get the latest version from the author's website. This applies to any of your mods named in the format of "ModName-Mod-1.7.10.jar".
  • You have the Thaumic Exploration for 1.7.2 instead of the required 1.7.10 version.
  • Your Thaumic Tinkerer mod is ancient and not compatible with the current version of Thaumcraft. It should be updated.
  • You have a 1.7.2 version of Twilight Forest. You need the latest 1.7.10 version.

This is all simply from browsing the contents of the modpack archive. I made no attempt to start the pack since there are so many fatal issues. Address these and come back here if you have more difficulties.

  • Your Galacticraft mod file versions don't match.
  • You have a file named "Growthcraft-1.7.10.zip. This file need to be extracted into the /mods/ folder.
  • You have Random Things for Forge/MC 1.8.
  • You need the Forge/MC 1.7.10 version of iChunUtil (4.2.x).
  • You are missing Enchiridion.

  • The very first link when you Google search for "random things mod" is the Minecraftforum summary thread for the mod with links for the different versions. Where are you looking?
  • The version of Mariculture you have specifically states that it requires Enchiridion 1.2b (not Enchiridion 2, which ain't the same thing).
  • Make sure you udpate the pack version number if/when you change the modpack archive.

  • As I have mentioned before, the liteloader-1.7.10.jar belongs in the /mods/1.7.10/ folder.
  • Your crash report clearly states, right at the top, that you have a duplicate enchantment ID between Thaumic Exploration and Mariculture for ID #77 causing the crash. Are you not looking at your logs? Disable Mariculture, start the pack, dump the enchantment IDs and change the Mariculture enchantment config file to fit into the unused IDs.
  • Your ProjectRed is fatally out of date.

Part of the goal here is not to just get your pack working, but for you to pick up on what is being changed and why those changes were required. This requires you to investigate your issues so that you have a better understanding of the process and where to look when things go wrong.

I have dicided to remove mariculture and i can start the modpack now but whenever i press u or right mouse button on an item in the NEI tab it crashes. I tried to read the crash report but did not understand what causes the crash.

Yes, that is the cause of the crash. In versions before #1164 they had an array indexing issue which resulted in a corrupt item list. The code which sifts through the recipes to display the GUI when you use NEI was failing on that bad index. Version #1164 fixed the problem.

So, again, you have stated that "my pack keeps crashing" but provided no supporting information. No logs, no crash-reports, no detailed explanation about the steps to reproduce the problem. Your pack works fine on my computer.

Unless you can provide some compelling reason to continue, I feel that we are done here.
