How to use better glass

My friend somehow turned this on a while ago, which gets rid of the lines between each glass panel and pieces of glass, but I can't find out how to do it, can someone please tell me how to turn this on?

In options, I think quality not sure but in options you can put connected textures on which connects glass

texture packs can do this. your friend probably installed a nifty pack. ask him where he got it or if he'll give it to you.

i've come to not like it myself since its an all or nothing thing. I've spent more time into the window frames design to just make them look better. My two favorite are both bay window derivatives. One uses glass blocks whilst the other uses panes and "wraps" the opening from the outside. Both use stair blocks and sometimes fence posts to accentuate the look or style as needed.
