Technic Launcher Won't Let Me Use More RAM

So technic launcher 4.0 won't let me use more RAM from the launcher options. I checked my laptop details from my resource manager, and it says I have 8 gigs of memory total but I can only select 1 gig max for the technic launcher.

Nothing shows up. I try to launch blightfall, and it says that I run 32bit java, but I obviously have 64bit. I deleted and reinstalled 64 bit java, but that still shows up.
