Tekkit Update 1.3.1

I'm just curious if it will get updated. I don't care how or when ,the only reason i ask is i know something people don't update and just leave it how it is any Feedback would be appreciated

First never ever ask for a ETA of anything technic related as it is not only against the rules but also impossible to tell. As we are purely reliant on the modders to release their mods for the new version of minecraft and the devs behind technic have zero say in when that happens. Which due to the changes that were released in this version of minecraft it will be a while before we see any type of update to technic or tekkit.

However I can assure you that we will be getting a update in the future once all the mods are updated and are stable enough to be assembled into a new mod pack. Also in the case of tekkit it is not enough that the mods be updated but they also need to ported over to bukkit since tekkit is bukkit based.

You're asking for an ETA by a different method. Don't. Let the next version of Tekkit be a nice surprise if it comes.

You can assure him of no such thing. There's a high probability, but assurances on the future are just so much empty prophecy. For all we know, the Minecraft modding community could collapse under the weight of Mojang's stupidity.

Of course you can assure him of an update. Tekkit is the biggest sort of modpack you can find over the whole internet with nearly limitless resources and a complete staff just like mojang. You're telling him to be prepared that the little probability of that something in the company goes wrong must not be let unattended. I'm sure of it that the tekkit modder staff will come up with a new update

1) It's not a company, its resources are (likely) nowhere near Mojang's, and it has 3 admins and less than a dozen moderators. I think your mental picture is flawed somehow.

2) Technic/Tekkit may just skip 1.3 entirely, depending on the actions of the modders, Mojang, and anyone else involved.

3) "Tekkit" doesn't have a modder staff. Some of the staff may be capable of modding, yes, but the mods actually being assembled don't come from this site.
