Watchful11 Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Hello and welcome to the server OP shop where, "This place is for server operators to talk about how many RAMS they have, what are the cool Bukkit plugins to use, how neat it is to do this sort of event for your community, that sort of stuff." Oh, you dont want to tell us what cool plugins you use? oooh, you seem to have an error. Hey, we have a section for that, its called the Tekkit Bug Board. Why not you go check over there if your super common problem has a simple solution? Like, stickied at the top of said forum where anyone who has the problem can find it? ps, lemme know if you find any cool plugins Quote

b0bst3r Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Locate the file launch.bat and EDIT it the default is - java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui On a 2GB RAM PC change it to - java -Xmx1024m -Xms1024M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui I've bolden the 2 important bits, this is the RAM, the default line expects you to have at LEAST 5GB RAM to run, this is often why people who just download and run tekkit crash without it ever starting. So adjust the startup line to suit your RAM configuration. Quote
