wont start on windows 10

So I got my new pc as my old one died, I downloaded Minecraft with no problem and go to install tekkit launcher and it wont start, not even pop up and there is no file installed from it.

I have a Nvidia Gforce 960, 6 gigs of ram and a Intel core i5 if that can help

I am quite mad about this and would like help if there is any.

When you said you went "install tekkit" did you mean technic as in the launcher or tekkit the modpack.

 First, try going into programs & features (right clicking the start button in the bottom left corner) and delete all technic file. Do the same with with your downloads folder and remove a technic launching shortcuts (Desktop icons, the buttons on the bottom toolbar). Then try going to http://www.technicpack.net/download and redownloading. Finish the entire install process and let me know how it goes from there.
