Game lags after a few minute of play

Operating System: intel core i5-3210M 3.1GHz NVIDIA Geforce GT 630M 2g dedicated ram 750GB hard drive 8GB RAM 64 bit operating system

Java Version: 64 bit

Antivirus Program: Norton 360 v6

Description of Problem:

After playing with the Technic pack usually after around 5 minutes (this varies) the game starts to lag, it stutters so much that I really can't understand why it would as my system specs would indicate I can run it with no problems so I'm completely clueless as to what the problem is. Has anyone got any ideas?

Try turning off Matmos (pressing f7 IIRC) and disableing IC sounds.

Is OpenGL on? Experiment with that.

sorry can you explain what you mean by 'OpenGL' and how I can experiment with it?

It's one of the options in the menu that you haven't even bothered to look up.

It could be what's making everything go wrong, considering NVidia drivers have updated and all.

It's not that I couldn't be bothered, quite the opposite, I'm just so dumb with all this that I haven't got a clue as to why I'm having these problems. That's why I am asking for help..

Also try turning your video settings down

it owrks fine 4 the first 2 min but after that just gets reaaallllyyyyyyy laaasgggyyyyyyy :(
