Idontlikespam Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 (Technic SSP) Operating System: Windows Vista Java Version: Java x32 Antivirus Program: none Description of Problem: every time i try to launch minecraft through technic launcher it gets stuck after me logging in when loading minecraft.jar. it stops at a different percent every time. I've been taking a break from the launcher bug reports, as you and bride seem to be doing okay, but I may help out a bit more now that I have some more time on my hands (despite the fact that I'm working on a mod). 0 Owen Lewis Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Jorcer will come around and tell you this: If you do not, and the .exe doesn't work, do this: I am getting a “Technic Launcher has Stopped Working Error”! If your launcher is encountering this error, a solution is to download the .jar file from http://www.technicpack.net/download/ (pick the third from the left (Linux/Jar)). If you are using Internet Explorer you will also need to change the file extension (the ending of the file) to .jar instead of .zip. Thants not fair? i checked everything and i thought .jar was another file type for a Mac, not a PC, also it is a bug if the .exe doesnt work and a brand new computer. Its not like my laptop is a crappy one either...This forum is for people who need help, and im sure you are happy to help since i see you post a lot and are very helpful....so sorry but i dont think there was any need for that? the other guy helped me and i really appreciate it, but at the end of the day this forum is for people who are stuck (like i was) and if you dont want to help dont, i know many people appreciate it (like i really do) but i was only messing, sorry like.
