That is specifically forbidden by the minecraft TOS. doesnt the technic launger download minecraft.jar from its own database? and wouldn't that be a problem? (not that i really cares about it) Nope, the launcher just automates the act of YOU doing it. The difference is that it's still YOU putting in YOUR information to the minecraft servers. Although, if you do have minecraft, and just want to get it from him so you can play without the launcher because the launcher isn't working, go post a bug report in the Launcher Bug Section and see if you can't get it to work.
