0 rmb938 Posted March 18, 2012 Author Posted March 18, 2012 Also this causes super lag issues and I need to go into mcedit and remove all the entities. Does someone know how to fix this it is really annoying.
0 widders Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 From what I have experienced, its due to chunk unloading/loading orders. There is basically no fix other than wait for Buildcraft to fix this. If you want a work around, don't use BC pipes as they're not very good in smp, buggy and that. Just use Red Power tubes instead for long distances.
0 rmb938 Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Alright but them how do I go about sorting stuff via diamond pipes and such. Edit: Also would the plugin NoLagg help? I know it has item drop limiting so it should help when the items start falling out.
0 DragnHntr Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Personally I just shut off my machines before logging off.
0 rmb938 Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Personally I just shut off my machines before logging off. Well that is kinda hard when me and a group of my friends play on my server at all different times all spread out on the map.
0 DragnHntr Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Make it each persons responsibility to turn off their own machines before logging off or risk them blowing up/lagging the server when everyone logs off.
0 rmb938 Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 I don't believe that is a good work around though. One of the points of having a smp server is letting things run on there own when your not online. Also what about "big" tekkit servers? They must of found some sort of way around this issue.
0 Valkon Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Alright but them how do I go about sorting stuff via diamond pipes and such. You can use a sorting machine.

Why don't you ask them?
0 rmb938 Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Well it seems like I fixed it by using the nolagg plugin by using its item drop limiter.
0 Sp0nge Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Well it seems like I fixed it by using the nolagg plugin by using its item drop limiter. The itemrestricting in Nolagg might give some other bugs, like blocks not falling to the ground, ppl "loosing" items etc. I strongly recommend that as long as u are using that feature, explain to the players whats added, what it does, and possible side-effects.

Yea. I only have a handful of my friends playing on the server atm so it is not a big deal. Eventually I would like a real fix for this problem though
0 gcity306 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 To fix the chunk unloading issue you could place chunk loader blocks they're keeping the chunks loaded all times, but this can be some extra load on the server if you have a lot of items in that chunk
