has run out of memory

hi guys,

i Installed tekkit legends but it won't let me play more than some minutes till it crashes. it says that it has run out of memory. My friends play with java 1.8, so I tried to download that but java only lets me download 1.9 in 64 version which leads into the crashes.

can anyone help me please ?

You need to allocate more RAM to technic launcher..

On the launcer go to the top right corner and click the gear that says launch options.

Then go to Java settings and allocate more RAM to it... 

That should get it working again

that will do nothing if he still uses java 9, since it's not compatible with Minecraft. Which is why I gave a link to java 8

It won't show me more than 1GB of ram on the Options and I have 32GB of ram on my PC
