TechnicLauncher.exe won't run

bigtruck35

Question

I've been trying to get technic to run on my computer for a couple months on and off, for some reason I can never get the .exe file downloaded off the platform to run. I've tried messing with Java and my own computer settings some but I can't find the issue. I also tried checking the FAQs to see if it was there bud found nothing. Here are my computer specs:

Asus Vivobook Pro

Windows 10

Intel Core i7-67000HQ CPU - 2.60GHz

8.00 GB RAM

Any help would be amazing,

Thanks, Bigtruck35

See that's the thing, I don't get any errors, I don't even get the logo on start up. I double click the launcher then nothing happens.

So it won't run at all or what error(s) are you getting?

If I am not mistaken all it needs is Java. You might have a stock Java on your system that meant to only run in the browser and/or such. You want to confirm that you have a STANDALONE Java. It should says something like 1.80_1xx or something like that.

Oh wow, that really was all I had to do. I thought I had checked my java but I guess I didn't! Thanks for all the help!
