paty413 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Does anyone know how to craft these because nei dosnt show the recipe and I cant find the mod for it i suspect it is ic2 but cant find the recipe on their wiki
thebird Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 It is from IC2 but it doesn't seem to have a recipe. I was looking at the IC2 code and there is no recipe entry that I can find.
demfels Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I'm confused how can an Item not have a recipe? Is this still under development?
thebird Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I guess that they are not done working on the night vision goggles yet. There are several items in Tekkit Lite that do not have recipes currently. The Philosopher's stone from EE3 doesn't have a recipe either. You can probably spawn the night vision goggles in if you want but I don't know if they will cause errors or not. The builders in Buildcraft don't work at the moment either, you get a "not implemented" error when you try and use them. These mods are still being actively developed so these problems should be fixed in future updates.
Phantom329 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I've tried them and they work using the night vision potion effect, unfortunately, at least for my game, there is no item texture so it is obviously in dev.
Shadowgirl09 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 yeah ikr i think the recipice should be like idk lol it in dev i know how to craft the stone thou :P
Shadowgirl09 Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 darn it dont work maybe i got recipe wrong lol
agreedyboy228 Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 guys i was redirect somehow from techeyes.com. why here is title night vision goggles but nobody actually talk about it???
Teraku Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 They're unfinished. They provide the night vision effect, but only at night. When used in a cave during the day, nothing happens. If you get exposed to sunlight, you get blindness. They also currently use the Nanosuit Helmet texture once put on your head. Also, when you take them off, the game will break Terra Wart and Milk, rapidly switch between normal and night vision view and this persists until you take a night vision potion or something.
Mr.Hotkeys Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 rapidly switch between normal and night vision view and this persists until you take a night vision potion or something. Weird, we used them for quite some time and never had this happen. Though if you want a bug-free solution, the dev versions of Tekkit Lite add a nightvision module to the Power Suit Head. It works all the time and never blinds you, and the power draw is minimal. Edit: Though it is the dev versions so I guess saying it's bug-free is misleading but the nightvision module in a vacuum is fine.
glichy Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 WELL THEY HAVE NO RECIPIE BUT THEY SHOULD MAKE ONE
