Tutorial: How to get any version of Tekkit Lite

Now that this topic has been stickied (and assuming I can always edit this post) I'll try and keep updating the version numbers

The Technic team make this VERY simple

1. Go to the Tekkit Lite page (Click Me)
2. Copy this link

   http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitlite/Tekkit_Lite_Server_###.zip

3. Change the ### to the EXACT server version that you want, here are the recommended and latest

Version 0.6.5

Version 0.6.5

Can't help you there, either the team took the file down or changed their system

Give it a few hours and try again, if that fails strip naked, run in to the middle of the road and yell "KakerMix take me for I am willing"

Getting hold of a new server version seems to be fairly easy, but actually upgrading the server has so far shown to be impossible with my crap skills. It's not possible to update the same way as Tekkit Classic, that's for true. Has anyone been able to update a server properly?

I must admit I just throw away most of it and ftp the new files in... I'm not aware of any other method, in all honesty.

I'm trying to preserve the world we've built, so it makes updating a bit harder. Not yet sure what it is I need to delete/replace. On the other hand, it might help to wait for the next stable version instead of using "unverified" versions. Slightly impatient =)

Yeah I keep downloading new versions as soon as I can as they all fix something that was broken in the previous one... :/

I've tried a few variants with no luck, and because of how the site is built there is no directory list avalible

That said unless my end is breaking down I'd say something is going on down the back as the Tekkit forum logo has been missing for a while

Does anyone actually have server version 0.6?

I tasked myself with running the client v0.6 to see what mods were in it but I failed, because I'm rather lazy. :/

0.6.0 has ceased to exist according to the website

Recommended: 0.5.7 Latest: 0.5.9

Then check VOLTZ DISCUSSION SECTION, and not in the TEKKIT LITE DISCUSSION SECTION.
