romeo mont Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Objects in the 0.5.6 v of tekkit lite are rotating, recyclers, macerators, ind info panels.. etc.. and it's messing up buildcraft and tubing outputs and such.
FanaticNinja Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 My machines, batboxes, etc are all facing downwards. However, its only client side meaning they are the correct placement on the server. I had a fix for 0.5.2 (delete the NVIDIA folder in appdata) which solved it, however no such luck on 0.5.6 yet.
RazielTheReaver Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 I'm getting the same exact problem as soon as I updated Tekkit Lite. Every time I load up my game, all of my Industrial Craft mod items it seems, turn onto their side. Also, every time I log in it updates again. Might have something to do with it.
FanaticNinja Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 When placing an IC2 item, not the initial texture rotation. It gets placed facing downwards, then flips itself correctly. Upon relog, it is the same direction as initial placement (before it flips upright). Serverside everything is fine, pipes etc work from the "correct" sides based on the server, but the client texture is facing downwards.
Captain Ahash Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I'm having the same issue, everything appears to be operating correctly, including pipes, but are displaying wrong clientside. Is there any kind of workaround to this?
Joshua Holley Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I also have this issue. It is very annoying and confusing. I'm on 0.5.7 and the problem has NOT been fixed. What's going on here? Could use a workaround...
Soos621 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I am also experiencing this problem, it is especially annoying with solar panels because they are not wanting to work properly (sometimes). I upgrade to 0.5.7 yesterday hopefully there will be a fix soon
Magnavox Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I have he same problem on my server. We updated Tekkit from 0.5.2 to 0.5.7 and now when i relog (or a chunk gets reloaded) all the machineblocks are rotated on the side. Does someone have a fix for this? I've searched on google on this topic and there was a simular problem in august 2012. It was a conflict between the IC2 mod and the multiworld plugin or something... Maybe this can help to fix the problem? (Source: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/3-0-3-3-0-4-machine-block-orientation-in-tekkit-3-0-3.11086/page-2) Thanks!
ststeppat Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I install a few moments ago, the latest version of IC2 (1.115.211-lf)at my server and client. Now all Blocks looks good. i download the latest version from ic2, http://141.28.27.36:8080/job/IC2_lf/
Soos621 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 This definatley worked uprighted all my solar panels and centered all the machines. Thanks ststeppat!!! (For SERVER) all clients and server MUST download the same ic2.jar and install it manually by going into %appdata%/.techniclauncher/tekkitlite/mods remove the original IC2.jar and replace it with the new build. Maybe tekkitlite will just release an update but i doubt it so have fun...

Alternatively you could use that nifty new custom zip feature. http://www.technicpack.net/custom-zip-build-your-own-private-modpacks/
Soos621 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 ppl still have to load the custom mods either way its the same principle
Deliphin Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 When placing an IC2 item, not the initial texture rotation. It gets placed facing downwards, then flips itself correctly. Upon relog, it is the same direction as initial placement (before it flips upright). Serverside everything is fine, pipes etc work from the "correct" sides based on the server, but the client texture is facing downwards. Not for me. I had this thought, so I put a full lap-pack (spawned to test) in the backmost MFSU that goes into the fowardmost, but it charged. (Both MFSU's were empty on start.) Basically: O > I > U O = The MFSU I put the lappack in. > = Direction it WAS facing. I = An MFSU in the middle. U = The MFSU that was nearly empty, but SHOULD have filled instead of O. So it seems this isn't clientside. (Though I'm on recommended build on a private server, not dev build.)
