puttyda Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hi, I'm baffled lol (I'm so stupid lol) How do you make a multilayer version of your modpack?
Markarthian Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I agree with your assessment of yourself. I second that. Also, please don't double post. There's an edit button for a reason you know.
puttyda Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 Instead of seconding that please could you Inform me where I am going wrong
Markarthian Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Instead of seconding that please could you Inform me where I am going wrong If you want help, you'll need to give us something to help you with in the first place... That's how life works you know?
lukeb28 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Instead of seconding that please could you Inform me where I am going wrong Everywhere. Just everywhere.
puttyda Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 Yeah, that is how life works, and if you would take the time to look at the original post you may realise that I know how life works. So, instead of putting people down to make yourself feel better about your own social skills/ life, you may want to read and help people, a lesson in how life works, - Idiots get nowhere, now please help or please leavethis forum respecrfully, ty:)
puttyda Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 Everywhere. Just everywhere. Lol that is why I requested your help lol
theprolo Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 How do you make a multilayer version of your modpack? Unfortunately, it is impossible to add "layers" to your modpack. I suggest making a modpack for each "layer" of your modpack, then switching between them when you want to change "layer".
Maxis010 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Idiots get nowhere, now please help or please leavethis forum respecrfully, ty:) Idiot number 20173 here Unless a mod is client-side only (this should be specified by the pack author on their site/topic) then put the contents of config, coremods and mods from your client to the server, then get the matching forge version for your server and install it PS. This is what the idiots numbered 37781, 18056 and 19916 were trying to say before they were overcome by sheer stupidity: Stop trying to make us hold your hand and do some research before asking on this forum and you won't be treated like this You have not given us ANY evidence that you have even remotely tried to make a server before coming here, instead you have posted a low effort topic, half of which is just your self-assessment If you want a place to start here is a nice simple one Look at the Tekkit modpacks, download one of them, then get a copy of the server and see what they have in common, you might learn something. Or you might just come back here next time you want an answer to the simplist of questions Oh and assuming you do return after reading this (and no doubt after posting your reply claiming how I'm rude/nasty etc, which I already know I am) then I hope you do so a little wiser and have actually done something yourself before posting another topic asking for a solution
lukeb28 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 look at this. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/anyone-want-a-mod-pack-made-by-me-for-free.41219/page-7 Not only does he want us to make a modpack work for a server, he wants me to make the damn thing!

Can I be idiot #37781? Also, tell us what you did... That's what I was telling you. Do you call the police when someone's been murdered and only say "Halp!"? Didn't think so.
lukeb28 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 He went here without any knowledge of minecraft version and incompatibilities. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/anyone-want-a-mod-pack-made-by-me-for-free.41219/page-7
